The Electro-Harmonix Memory Boy Analog Delay Pedalfrom Electro-Harmonix Memory Boy Analog Delay Pedalis an analog delay pedal with chorus and vibrato effects. The Memory Boy uses the Deluxe Memory Man as a base, expanding upon it with additional modulation features and an expression pedal input (expression pedal not included) which allows external control over delay time and modulation rate. Your Memory Boy can be used on its own or in combination with other effects devices. The unit comes with a 9.6 VDC-200BI power supply. There is also a 9V battery clip inside your Memory Boy which can be optionally used to power the unit with a single battery for three to four hours.

The Memory Boy is equipped with a bypass footswitch that allows you to switch the effect in and out. The analog delay effect has three controls to it: Blend, Feedback, and Delay Time. In addition, there is a Depth control which sets the amount of modulation applied to your tone in the selectable sweet analog Chorus and Vibrato modes. The triangle / square toggle switch sets the shape of the analog modulation waveform. The Chorus, Vibrato & Expression Pedal toggle switch is a three-position toggle switch which has two jobs: it sets the rate of modulation and chooses the parameter for the expression pedal to control.

[1.5 lb] The Electro Harmonix Platform Compressor is a fantastic stereo compressor pedal that works quite well. It runs on a standard 9-volt pedal power supply that it comes with. I used three of them for a live techno set I was doing. I had a Roland TR-8, Roland TB-3, and Novation Circuit all synced and running together. I had Platform Compressors on the stereo out of each piece of gear and they worked perfectly. They were very reliable but I did have a user error once which I will mention so you can avoid it. The Swell knob got bumped and my attack times began fading in completely throwing off the timing of the TB-3. I couldn't figure out what happened till after my set. So be careful to not hit this knob mid performance. To remedy this possibility, I used electrical tape to hold my knob settings in place after this incident and never had this issue again. The Platform Compressor is fantastic for the money and for the functionality. Stereo compression has never been more convenient with the Platform Compressor.

[1.5 lb] Love the sound of electro-harmonix. this provides a great fuzz. I prefer a fuzz over a distortion. this may be my favorite pedal especially with the electro harmonix small stone.

[LED, status LED] Best chorus I've played. Limited range but sounds so good. The modern 9v plug is a bonus.

[LED, status LED] First of all, this pedal has so many features and applications. Four different octaves, attack, and low-pass filter (I don't use the detune much, but others probably would get some mileage out of it), plus a built-in presets footswitch. One note: if you are powering your pedalboard with a dedicated pedal power supply, only certain combinations of power supply and pedals will work if you include the POG2. Do some research online if you already have a pedal power supply or if you will add one in the future. Even though this was a special delivery order and not something that B&H carries in stock, B&H delivered very quickly.

[LED, status LED] Consider the monotron delay a dynamite toy for grown folks. It's function is not necessarily musical and I don't use it directly in my musical pursuits, but it provides an abstract function that feeds my music in the intangible. As a tool for meditation it is far out indeed.

[LED, status LED] The EHX series of organ pedals are a breath of fresh air in an industry that seems content recycling the same basic stompbox designs. You can get a wide range of sounds that go from subtle organ texture to bizarre voicings. Having a dry signal out is fantastic for players like me (bass) who want to keep an uneffected signal to my bass rig. Meanwhile I can run the organ sounds into a separate amp and/or series of pedals and tweak to taste. I'm not sure I'll use it in a live setting much, but its a blast to record and play with.

[1.5 lb] Yes, this pedal is pretty cool! I particularly like the orchestra and choir voices, though the rest are interesting too. I got it, added it to my pedal board, and tried it out at a gig. Audience members were looking around trying to figure out where all the orchestral sounds were coming from. My bandmates thought it was hilarious that our scrappy garage band suddenly had this new big production sound.
