The SWIT S-3602V Dual Charger/Adapter has two charging channels with 7-8.4 VDC, 2A output each for simultaneously charging two batteries. It is compatible with SWIT S-8823 and JVC BN-VF823 DV batteries. Four-level LED charging indicators for each channel indicate the percentage of charge remaining.

This dual charger also has two 5.5/2.1mm DC barrel ports that provide an 8.4 VDC, 3.5A (total) output for other accessories.

[1.44 lb] I use this battery as a necessary backup to the original, because the JVC HD Camcorder is so power hungry. The original battery only yields about 30 minutes of record time. This one beats it by a little. I now carry 8 batteries with me if I am doing a 1 day shoot (covers me for approx. 4 hours of total record time). This battery is a LOT less expensive than the one from JVC, though it is rated at 2100 mAh -- slightly less than the JVC battery, rated at 2190 mAh. Even so, I have 2 of the JVC batteries and 6 of the Pearstone batteries, and the Pearstone's are consistently better (longer lasting, by about 10 to 15 minutes). 5

[2] So far so good, multi-meter shows the voltage jumping around a little between 7v to 8v, should be fine. I am using this with the JVC GY-HM180 on a moving tripod for a wireless broadcast. 5
