[Glass] I was very happy I chose the Expert Shield over the other screen protectors. This one for my Pentax K1 is the second one I've purchased, the first being for my Pentax K3 III Monochrome. In both instances, the protectors fit perfectly. The total surprise is that they send you a set of TWO protectors, so I was able to apply the second protector on my wife's K1. The instructions were very clear and it was quite easy to install the screen protector in less than five minutes. Compared to the other screen protectors I've used, this one was very high quality; the edge almost seems to have a rounded off edge to it which makes it very sleek, and that gives me added confidence that it won't snag or catch on something. Additionally, this seems to be a little thicker than most screen protectors, so I think it will offer more protection. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

[0.05 lb] So far so good. Be absolutely meticulous about cleaning the camera screen first. Every speck of dust will be a bubble, but I got it clean and placed the first time.

[Dry Adhesion] Since the rear screen on my Sony A6500 is always exposed to the outside world, I see the extra protection afforded by a transparent screen protector as required. This screen does just that.



In general, I'm pleased with this screen. I used one on a Sony A7R II and was satisfied with the result. I do recommend that you make a few practice fittings with the screen before removing the film from the adhesive side, just so you'll have some idea what to expect with you adhere the cover.



I have used these screens on three different cameras. On the other two, the screen disappears onto the display so that, if you're not looking for it, you won't know it's there even when the screen is turned off and black. Not so the A6500. When the display is off, the shape of the Sony display is such that the screen has a visible border that looks like the screen has not adhered to part of the display. This visual effect disappears when you turn the camera on and an image appears on the screen, but it was an unexpected effect.


In general, I'm glad I have the screen on my display. It's effective and in no way interferes with my ability to use my camera. It performs in a way that meets all my expectations.

I've used this type of glass screen protector before on my Nikon D7100 camera and for the life of me I've forgotten its availability and i've waited too long to order one for my Sony a7ii until some visible scratches were noticed around the edges on the screen. To my satisfaction, the perfect fit covered the scratches around the edges and my camera looks good as new again. Get this earlier and protect your camera screen, ASAP!
