Capture wide shots of fish, coral, and other sea life at depths up to 200' with this AOI DLP-02 Acrylic Dome Port for Panasonic Fisheye Lensfor Panasonic's Lumix G 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye lens. It is compatible with the OM-D series underwater camera housings from Olympus. The dome-shaped front element corrects for the size distortion that occurs underwater, which causes everything to look larger and closer. Designed especially for very wide-angle lenses like the 8mm, it enables you to reduce the amount of water between you and your subjects for clearer, more accurate images, while fitting more in the frame.

The front element is crafted from acrylic. The tulip-shaped dome shade blocks stray light to prevent lens flare, while also offering some added protection against impact and allowing the port to maintain a light weight. Built for durability, the port body is made from aluminum that has been hard anodized for resistance to corrosion.

[200' / 60 m] Though the Lumix 7-14mm can give you a similar DOF and range of vision, its rectilinear design cannot provide you with the Gilliam-esque look that this lens can. 5

[7 x 6.4 x 5"] I first bought the Samyang 7.5mm f3.5 fisheye. But since I do a lot of close-up with my kids, I needed AF since they move a lot. On my Olympus E-M1, the focus is fast in good light, and a little bit slower when the lightning is dimmer. The lens is very sharp in the center wide opened. And at f5.6 and above, it is sharp corner to corner. It can flare a lot but less than with the Samyang, not by much thought. Tha built quality is better than the Samyang but is expected. The focus ring is much smoother, something that I did not expected. The one the Samyang was very stiff. In all, I am happy with the Pana, much more than my first purchase. 5

[1.15 lb] I'm amateur photographer and this is my 2nd lens for Lumix GX1. As expected with a fisheye lens, taking photo is fun and exciting. You see the world in different perspective and the image captured are clear and I use it mostly to take landscape picturs for now, no more need to stitch up panoramas this camera capture it all in one shot. But the lens is very big so dirt get on the lense easily and it is very difficult to clean. My dog licked the lense and I am unable to clean the lens ever since. 5

[1.15 lb] Haven't had the chance to compare these with other brands, but these appear to be well made and so far have performed well. We are obviously looking at a niche market. Although branded as Panasonic the name appears nowhere on the glasses or packaging. And the instruction page is not even for this particular model. (They tell you how to install/change the battery, these carry a rechargeable pack. A charge is supposed to be good for up to 45 hours use which sounds more than enough.) If I had any criticism it would be weight. Although they feel fairly light, by the end of the movie my nose feels the pressure. But again, not sure how that compares with other brands. Seems a small price to pay for getting to watch a 3D movie in the comfort of my home. 5

[10.3 oz / 293 g] I'm using this lens on an E-P3, and the results I have obtained are nothing short of amazing. Chromatic aberrations are extremely well controlled, even when shooting subjects against the sun, and the distortion isn't extreme - just right for a fisheye for my taste. The lens is extremely sharp and very compact, macro capability is amazing for a fisheye. If you're a fisheye enthusiast and are on the micro 4/3 platform, I definitely would not hesitate to buy this lens. A similar quality dslr lens costs twice to three times more... 5
