[5 x 4.1 x 2.1"] I bought the AKG C3000 primarily because I was looking for a decent condenser microphone, form a reputable manufacturer, within budget. I never expected a magnificent sound from this mic. But my expectations were surpassed considering the sound derived form the C3000. To begin with, this mic is solidly built in Vienna, Austria and looks elegant in black metallic finish. I use it with m101 preamp and the sound is clear and upfront. Given the price, it delivers a well defined sound. I am pleased!

[0.015 lb] The C3000 is my main mic, I use it on acustic instruments as Classical, Acustic and Portuguese Guitar,and also on Vocals and as a room mic. It sounds closer to what you hear in the room then any other mic, with a smooth top end to help you to get warm vocals.

[5 x 4.1 x 2.1"] I bought 2 of these to test & potentially replace 4 beyerdynamic MPC 66 boundary mics. The problem with the MPC 66 is they were picking up alot of excess humm in the room from HVAC and other noises. The 'professional' audio installers claimed no improvement could be made. I went out on a gamble in search of the best boundary mic to replace it and decided on these. These are AMAZING! They blew the other mics out of the water. No hummm, no HVAC pickup. Clean voice. These work better than expected and would purchase again.

[Foam] These things look so much better than the originals! Just Wish AKG made a beefyer one for outdoor conditions!

[5 x 4.1 x 2.1"] I moved from USB to this mic and though I was really happy, this baby is a great step for that extra presence.

[0.015 lb] This is an addition to an identical mic. Works well as we use it for our Pastor and Associate Ministers when they preach. Great omnidirectional amplification.

[0.015 lb] I don’t use this on an AKG. For me, this little clown nose is perfect for my Sennheiser 416 microphone. I work this microphone close-up. A conventional nylon stocking-type enormous circular windscreen doesn’t allow me to have a proper view of the script I am performing. This little pop filter is expensive but superbly addresses my need. A studio in Hollywood has been successfully using this on the Sennheiser 416 for three decades. When I must record in another studio I have this in my pocket.

[0.015 lb] A GREAT Mic for soft voice This mic is great and just what I have been looking for. I have a soft voice and tried using hand held mics but couldn't get the volume up without worrying about feedback. With this mic I was able to turn it up so loud with no feedback at all that my band said that it may be too loud. My Drummer bought a wireless head mic that he had to return because it would feedback before we could get the volume up as needed. I sat behind his drums with his drums miked and NO feedback at all. I'm sure he will be buying one of these also. The on/off mute button on the belt pack comes from the factory as a temporary off, like for a cough but it can be changed to a temporary on or as an on/off switch which I prefer. It was VERY simple to change. The headset could not be any more sturdy or it would be too heavy to wear. I give it a Five Stars because it works for me and my soft voice. No more worrying about feedback or getting it loud enough to hear me. It is GREAT for a Rock Drummer who needs to be loud without feedback from his other mics or monitors and for anyone with a soft voice that needs a lot of volume from a mic. Someone did it right with this one and now they need a handheld mic with the same Cardioid Condenser mic. Thank You for a Great Product. I also recommend this headset with a Shure wireless System for anyone who needs to move around such as a singing lead Guitarist.
