The Palmer ABI Balanced Line Output Switcherfrom Palmer ABI Balanced Line Output Switchercan be used to route a signal to one or two possible outputs. Three slide switches select 15 dB of attenuation for input A, and 6, 15, or 21 dB for input B. A ground-lift switch eliminates the earth-loop hum and a red LED indicates the active output. Additional features of the PEABO include two-room signal routing and the ability to switch your mic between the FOH and monitor mixing-desk for communication needs. Two different sound configurations can also be created by running the outputs of the PEABO into two channels of the mixing desk which can then be toggled between on-stage. The switcher features a solid metal casing with extended edges for protecting the inputs and outputs. Pre-drilled holes can be used for mounting the unit into a rack or onto a pedalboard.

A: From my experience you can not select but one input at a time. The product is outstanding, though. I am in to very high end audio and have high end audio components connected like Mark Levinson, Theta, Magnum Dynalab and notice no signal degrade.

A: Hi Andrzej, Thanks for inquiring. This switch can switch two AES/EBU signals. Since it's a passive switch, it won't be seamless switching, and there will be a dropout in the signal while switching, but it should otherwise work for you.

A: This controller is meant for a stereo pair and does not have a subwoofer connection. So it depends on where your subwoofer connection originates. If the subwoofer is directly connected to your stereo pair, then you're ok; otherwise, not. This is a great controller for a pair of powered monitors, and I really like the mono switch capability. The sound quality is beyond reproach.

A: You can however as it is a passive volume knob you will not have true reference grade monitoring. The shifting impedance will effect the frequency response and stereo image as you turn the volume up and down..... so for editing it is very convenient but for mix critical listening I would go with something that has an active volume control
