The Benro BV8 Aluminum Tripod Kit - Twin-Leg Designis a complete tripod system ideal for studio applications and handling larger camera rigs weighing up to 17.6 lb. The kit pairs the 75mm-ball BV8 video head with a twin-leg aluminum tripod. The BV8 head features a 5-step counterbalance system to dial in the correct amount for your setup, and independent 4-step pan and tilt drag settings for precise control over camera movements. A Manfrotto 501/504PL compatible sliding quick release plate is provided. All the main controls aside from counterbalance are located on the left side of the head, making it easy to make adjustments with a single hand while operating the camera. For added versatility, the 75mm ball tie-down stud is removable to convert the head to a flat base for use on a slider or other support device.

The 2-stage, 3-section twin-leg aluminum tripod incorporates a 75mm bowl and offers sturdy support for the BV8 head. It features oversized quick positive leg locks for a simple and fast setup, an adjustable/removable mid-level spreader, and dual spiked feet with removable rubber pads. The tripod system extends to a maximum height of 63" while getting as low as 28". A carry case and shoulder strap are included.

[2 x 3/8"-16] I recently purchased a new teleprompter that was heavier then expected. My current tripods couldn't handle the 17 lbs (teleprompter and a Canon C100). I was looking for an affordable option to support my gear. I hadn't heard of Benro before, so I was skeptical. I am extremely happy and pleasantly surprised! Its rock solid. [5-step (0 to 4)] As a DP who shoots in numerous, variying conditions (as we all do), I have been quite pleased with the Benro BV10. With a 22lb load capacity, it is well suited to handle my c300 and it's shoulder rig, as well as any peripherals. Great quality at an affordable price! 5

[75 mm Bowl] So far, this tripod has performed exceptionally well. It's buttery SMOOOOOOTH. My camera rig is around 20 pounds all kitted out and this thing takes it like a champ. Since the head is a half ball-head, it can also be attached to a slider with a 3/8-16 thread. I've used it on my iFootage Shark slider and I can achieve moves with virtually perfect pan & tilts. I'm thinking about getting a smaller head exclusively for slider work. Because this tripod is as great as it it, I'll probably purchase another Benro head. 5

[75 mm Bowl] I bought this for a BMPC 4K camera that's rigged out at around 20 pounds. This baby was PERFECT for that camera and weight! The counter balance worked out phenomenally and the smoothness of panning and tilting is incredible! My ONLY complaint is that Benro has not added the illuminated level bubble to this unit. All of the other, less expensive Benro tripods have them. 5
