The Benro BV10 Twin-Leg Aluminum Tripod Kitis a complete tripod system ideal for studio applications and handling larger, fully rigged cameras weighing up to 22 lb. The kit pairs the 100mm-ball BV10 video head with a twin-leg aluminum tripod. The BV10 head features a 5-step counterbalance system to dial in the correct amount for your setup, and independent 4-step pan and tilt drag settings for precise control over camera movements. A Manfrotto 501/504PL compatible sliding quick release plate is provided. All the main controls aside from counterbalance are located on the left side of the head, making it easy to make adjustments with a single hand while operating the camera. For added versatility, the 100mm ball tie-down stud is removable to convert the head to a flat base for use on a slider or other support device.

The 2-stage, 3-section twin-leg aluminum tripod incorporates a 100mm bowl and offers sturdy support for the BV10 head. It features oversized quick positive leg locks for a simple and fast setup, an adjustable/removable mid-level spreader, and dual spiked feet with removable rubber pads. The tripod system extends to a maximum height of 64.4" while getting as low as 29". A carry case and shoulder strap are included.

[100 mm Bowl] I took a long time to dcide which tripod to buy for my C300 Mark II. Actually you can see my question on the Q&A section. Now after some months using the Benro BV10 I got to say that is a sturdy and fluid tripod. It works great, and comparing it with other tripods with the same specs is a great option in terms of value. 5

[2] For all those who will never have a heavier rig than a DSLR and some speedlights, you can probably stop here, though there are a few nagging bits that might make it a poor choice.The feet are not designed for nature. They play on flat surfaces.The spreader, if it's not fully extended, will make the whole tripod shaky.The legs themselves wobble without a solid weight on the spreader or the feet, and the system will tip if you put too much force into a pan, but if you use a tripod without a weight, you're probably not doing very choreographed moves.It's a solid piece of equipment, and if you're in the market for something better than legs from a 1980s Sears Tripod, it's definitely a step up. 5
