The RDL Active D-Series Loudspeaker features a grey grill and is designed to deliver rich, detailed sound while in Decora-compatible wall or chassis mounts. The input accepts either a -10 dBV unbalanced or a +4 dBu balanced signal on the rear-panel detachable terminal block.

Amplification is provided by the built-in high-efficiency Class D power stage amplifier. The amplifier features audio filtering so the speaker will produce crisp quality audio. The high-efficiency Class D output stage amplifier produces negligible heat for all levels of voice or music modulation. The amplified output level is controlled by a front panel volume control. The loudspeaker includes an analog compressor/limiter that makes higher average sound output levels possible without clipping.

The built-in driver is constructed of materials found in premium larger speakers. The unique steel enclosure provides full baffling in a tightly sealed rigid structure. The benefit of this enclosure is that it's designed to provide sonic presence within an extended frequency range expected from larger speakers. Internal filtering rolls off out-of-band frequencies to reduce distortion and increase peak power capability. Dispersion covers a spherical area of nearly 180 degrees with the speaker mounted in a wall.

Very handy!The STD-10K is designed for combining or distributing consumer level audio signals, which often use RCA connectors (like DVD players, CD players, etc). The STD-600 is designed with the proper resistance for professional audio equipment, which typically uses XLR or TRS connectors.That DJ mixer has both types of outputs, but using the XLR outputs to match what the Yamaha is outputting is your best bet. Then they'll both be a good match for an STD-600. The device the signal is going to should also have a professional type input.I think the RDL product sheet has some example diagrams for dealing with a variety of balanced and unbalanced connections.
