[0.7 lb] This filter has greatly enhanced my photos of the night sky. I use a Canon EOS 6D Mark II that has a full spectrum modification and this filter helps reduce the red spectrum which makes the picture look more natural.

[0.7 lb] Product works great, used the product for my PVR which is dual frequency without any issues. It's best to be straight on to the receiver when setting up as much as possible.

[0.7 lb] Bought 2 after other cheaper illuminators were low-light. THey run off a 12 V 7AH battery and the beam means they illuminate objects within 50 ft or more!

[0.7 lb] I used the repeater system to hide audio components in a closet. It worked exactly as advertised...it could use a longer receiver cable( only 3 feet in length)

[0.7 lb] I've used this with my Hi-Q smart battery for a few months now, and this has worked like a charm. I paired it with a good power adapter and typically just slot the battery in at the end of the night and use the battery the next morning. I've had no issues and I'm quiet happy with the charger.

Works well with any USB charger I’ve paired it with and it’s small enough to always have on hand, so the peace of mind knowing k can charge my batteries off of any smartphone adapter is nice.

Only quibble I have is sometimes the charge lights on the unit don’t correspond with the lights in the battery, but in-plugging and re-plugging fixes it everytime and it works great.

Great purchase considering the price of similar units.

[0.7 lb] Though we did not buy this cam from B&H, we thought it would be a good idea to leave a review because we absolutely love this camera. When we purchased it, the firmware was not up to date and the camera was impossible to control, as the other reviews mentioned. It simply was not possible to follow a moving subject on stage, rendering the camera useless in our work environment. With a quick update and an update to our Sony RM-IP500 via our PC, the camera is now super smooth. If you purchase this cam new, it will likely have the latest firmware installed.


It is important to note that for some reason, Sony decided to sell these cameras with the slow control function disabled. This makes no sense, why would anybody want a PTZ camera with poor control? You need to turn it on and it's very easy to do:


-Go into the camera menu and select System
-Change the P/T speed type to Extd. STEP or Extd. Range
-If you select Extd. Range turn the P/T Slow Mode to On.
-Also under the System Menu change the Zoom Speed Type to Extd. Range
-If you do not see these options in your menu, you must update your firmware. The manual explains how to do this with a PC and it was not difficult.


We also love the Trace feature. With Trace, you can record a movement and save it as a preset.


We highly recommend this camera and look forward to purchasing more in the future.

[0.7 lb] I used the IR repeater to be ablle to mount our satalite receiver behind a mule chest. The wife wants only to see a flat screen and no components. It allowed for that. In addition it provided the funtionality I needed and had no delay which was my biggest concern. I now own two of these and will probably add one or two more in the near future.
