A: The straps of the Weaver Detachable Med Extension Top Mount Rings (Matte Black, 1"), BH # WEDRTMT1MEM, are fabricated steel with aluminum saddles for light weight and durability. These items are not available in all-steel versions. Recoil should not be an issue if mounted properly.

Q: 3. I just received my bipod and have no idea how to extend the legs and otherwise open it up for use. Can you send me an instruction booklet or video to help me prepare this for my AR? I am 64 years old and have never used this type of accessory. Thank you

A: My apologies for this. I just contacted the manufacturer, and they don't have a manual for the model. But we did add a photo onto this item showing how to use the model and adjust the legs. There is also a video on Barska's site demonstrating how to use the model.

A: The Weaver Flat Top Riser Rail only fits a flat top AR15 or M16. It does not fit on top of another rail.

[0.4 lb] Obtained these rings for my 338 lmr.Very well machined. Did not come with a torx wrench. Inserts are a bonus for cant or offset. Service from B&H excellent. 5

[0.4 lb] Takes a bit of thought to set these up but not only do they let you tailor your baseline elevation, the inserts also make the rings so much easier on the scope tube. Also, if you wish to work at longer ranges later, it's as easy as changing the ring inserts to come back to zero at greater distances. Keep the inserts you don't initially use with the rifle 5

[34 mm] Nice well made rings. Left only about+3mm clearance between my Weaver 50mm tactical scope and top of Picatinny rails. 5
