Very cleverly conceived by Pro Co Sound's director of engineering, Gerry Carpenter, the Pro Co Sound StageMaster 20 Channel Snake 25'is logically thought out and designed for fixed installations and light road and stage use. The rugged and reliable design features the latest in connector technology and a cable that is extremely flexible for easy coiling.

The StageMaster stagebox is built from a thick 16 gauge connector plate with a blank template overlay that allows channel ID numbers to be written on it. The stagebox features Pro Co Duralink cable, and the fanout cable spread is 3-4' long to allow for the individual connectors to link to multiple audio components.

Q: 2. will this work for phantom power?

A: Phantom power is able to be transmitted between 2 devices by any XLR cable.

Q: 3. Is this cable compatible with the Alesis DM7X module?

A: The DM7X module's (6) pad inputs are 1/4 TRS jacks, and you have Left & Right 1/4 outputs Without knowing how you envisioned using the Hosa DTP803 snake with the Alesis DM7X module, I can't answer the question. Clearly the back of the DM7X module does not have a DB-25pin connecter, so using the Hosa snake to connect the pads to the module isn't going to work.

[11.05 lb] Pro Co has been in the business for years, and they are known among professionals as a top-quality brand. You cannot beat the price on the Stagemaster line of microphone cables. The cable itself is very sturdy, with a tough rubber casing. It is very quiet while handling. The plugs are solid metal with an adjustable strain relief and very positive locking feature to keep you plugged in. The soldering/assembly is a work of art. Unlike all other contenders in this price range (with overmolded plugs), StageMaster cables can be disassembled, repaired and maintained should they ever fail--and failure has yet to happen on any I've used for years. Do not believe any BS about oxygen-free copper and gold-plated contacts on the $40 cables. It's all hooey. Buy one of these and you will wonder why you ever wasted money on any other cable. The only improvement possible with the StageMaster line would be to give them away free--which is almost the case. I'm a pro musician and sound engineer, and have used lots of brands for more than 30 years. These are outstanding cables. 5

[11.05 lb] This cable has nice solid connectors that are very durable. we have been using them for a while now and they have been holding up nicely. They are cheaper than our other cables, but we can't tell the difference, they don't feel any less durable. 5
