The software can remove both high frequency and low frequency problems simultaneously without adversely affecting the source material.

The plug-in features a familiar five-band EQ interface and an "Extract" mode which can create a noise profile from sources that contain signal, as well as a flexible "Adaptive" mode. Real-time operation means parameters can be fine tuned and changes heard as they are made.

Monitoring provides a choice of either listening to the audio after Z-Noise processing or the noise being removed. A choice can also be made between increased frequency resolution or improved time resolution, or a combination of the two.
