[Black] I use this to run power to my lights and other equipment on set. It's great to have the outlets spaced out along the cord - it saves needing to daisy chain more extension cords just to position lights farther apart. The light-up sockets are dandy too, making them easy to find in the dark while not being so bright as to cast an unwanted glow on whatever you're shooting. These lights also help keep folks from tripping over the cord, which is a big plus for special events. The cord itself is heavy-duty and rugged. My only complaint might be that the cord weighs a ton but that's a small price to pay for the convenience. I would definitely recommend this cord to a friend.

[15 A] I have two of these for use in my lighting business, and will probably buy more. I will run one along the front of a stage so I can plug in multiple uplights (and give the band some power for pedal boards, fans, etc.), and/or string one along an overhead truss (with triple taps in each socket) to provide power to my LED PARs. This cord is very handy, and very heavy duty. The lights on each outlet are nice, not too bright, but bright enough to easily locate the outlet when it is buried in a mess of other cables on a stage. The only thing I don't like about this is that it comes with a 20A plug on it, requiring an adapter to plug into a 15A outlet (it comes with the adapter, so not too big a deal). Personally, I just chop off the plug and install a 15A plug so I don't have to worry about losing adapters. If you plug this into a 15A circuit, just remember to keep track of your total load, which you should be doing anyway even on a 20A circuit. So enough reading reviews, just buy this thing and enjoy stress-free power distribution.

[NEMA 5-15P Male] The Watson Three-Tap Power Extension Cord can handle loads up to 15A of current, and a load of up to 300V and 4,500W. I don't see what you can't plug in here. This thing will handle pretty much anything you have on Set. Even HMI lights...No problem. But don't exceed the maximum load found printed at the label, attached to the cord.

I love that extra thick 12 Gauge and the fact that it is black. That should be same thing as the yellow coded extension cords, which, yellow = 12 Gauge, but I like the BLACk! It it easier to make it disappear on Set rather than the yellow ugly cords.

I'm plugging in TWO Godox M600D and ONE M600Bi LED lights on this extension cord when I go on location. Such load, It doesn't even make tickles and cord remain cool. When approaching 3,000 watts, expect it to get just a tad warm as it is normal. The longer the cord, the warmer it can get as it makes electrons travel more. 25 feet to me is the ideal thing.

This cord is also excellent for large window air conditioners, electric lawn mowers and Halogen film lighting fixtures such as an ARRI T2 or HMI lights, again, UP TO 300v, 15 Amps, 4,500 watts total.
