Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what is the length of the TravelHood?

A: 7 1/2 inches

Q: 2. Will it fit Sony 200-600mm?

A: No. But this 1 will. B&H # LETHZM4

Q: 3. will this fit the sony 70-200 f4?

A: This would not be a good fit. All the sizes of the LensCoat TravelHood are made for larger lenses than the Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 .

Q: 4. Would this fit, in addition WITH the standard lens hood on Nikon 500mm PF? Need a longer hood for extreme backlighting.

A: The LensCoat TravelHood is made to work in place of the original lens hood on a Nikon 500mm PF lens and not along with it.

Q: 5. What is the length on each pad?

A: The length of each pad on the LensCoat LegCushion (Black) is 24".

Q: 6. Which Lenscoat Travel Hood fits a Canon RF100-500

A: The LensCoat TravelHood (Small, Realtree MAX-5) listed above would not be the option I recommend for use on the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Lens. Instead, I would recommend to purchase the LensCoat TravelHood Zoom (Realtree Max5), B&H # LETHZM5, for use on the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Lens.

Q: 7. Does this one fit with Nikon 800mm Z F 6.3 PF?

Q: 8. Will this fit over tripod leg protectors from Lens Coat and still support holding the tripod ?

A: According to Lenscoat's website it is shown in use without the leg protectors. I do not think the velcro attachment from the leg cushion will wrap firmly around the the leg with a protector on.

Q: 9. Does this prohibit your tripod legs from closing fully ??

A: no it does not.

Q: 10. Will the small lens travel hood fit the Canon 70-200 f/4 II or the 70-300 f/4 lens?

A: This would not be a good fit. All the sizes of the LensCoat TravelHood are made for larger lenses than the ones you have.

[0.5 lb] For the hood on my 500 f4. I have an older version of this lense and I've lost some of the screws etc that hold it in place. If you have older Nikon equipment you find out Nikon does not keep parts for older equipment in stock. This LensCoat hood is a good replacement. And I might add that I got the usual good service and effiency from B&H !

[0.5 lb] Nice compact and well made pouch! It is very sturdy adn tougher than I first thought!
Draw strings keep lenses secure. I use it for my 50mm lens.

[0.5 lb] This is my first hood of this kind so I wasn't sure about how it would all work and was worried about getting the right size. It fits nicely on my lens that has a diameter of 120mm. It shades and protects the lens as I had hoped. It seems pretty rugged too.

[0.5 lb] Awesome pouch to fit an smaller lens or in my case, an FTZ adapter, which is an expensive piece of gear, so I wanted to protect it. Very convenient size for an item like that, or a set of extension tubes, or a small lens. I will probably get another one, it's so cute.

[0.5 lb] I've never had damage when my lens is wrapped in one of these, they can take a lot of abuse. The color can indicate what lens is enclosed, it's nice to have color and it's easier to see in a bag or pack than a black colored pouch.

[0.5 lb] I have a pouch in a pouch method of packing and carrying lenses on the road and in the field.

I have a few small lenses that do not fit well in some pouches I have. I use this for filling out empty space left in the pouch I use when traveling. I also use it as a pocket pouch when I'm shooting. Both uses work well for the way I pack and carry.
