This large forest green camo LensCoat TravelHood Large Forest Green Camois designed for 400mm f/2.8, 600mm f/4, and 800mm f/5.6 lenses as a lightweight and portable alternative to a standard lens hood. Its ribbed design allows it to wrap around the lens and fold flat to pack into your bag. A: The LensCoat TravelHood is made to work in place of the original lens hood on a Nikon 500mm PF lens and not along with it.

A: According to Lenscoat's website it is shown in use without the leg protectors. I do not think the velcro attachment from the leg cushion will wrap firmly around the the leg with a protector on.

[0.6 lb] This lens hood works phenomenally. I just used it in Alaska shooting wildlife and I experienced no vignetting on my Nikon 200-500. It is compact and light, which makes it superior to the factory lens hood as the factory one is impossible to fit in any bag and unfit for travel. 5

[0.6 lb] This work great on my Nikon 200-500 and my 80-400. It will work on a Tamron 150-600. The room this hood lets me have in my bag by leaving other lens hoods at home is big. fast and easy to put it on the lens. when I am done just take it off fold it up and slid it in a side pocket. 5

[0.6 lb] For the hood on my 500 f4. I have an older version of this lense and I've lost some of the screws etc that hold it in place. If you have older Nikon equipment you find out Nikon does not keep parts for older equipment in stock. This LensCoat hood is a good replacement. And I might add that I got the usual good service and effiency from B&H ! 5

[0.6 lb] I had purchased a cheaper fabric lens hood from another source only to receive one that didn't come close to a proper fit for my Sigma 150-600 Sport lens. I returned it and bought the LensCoat TravelHood Zoom from B&H. It fits perfectly. Great product. I would recommend to anyone. 5
