The NEMA ATEN PE6108A 8-Outlet Power Distribution Unitis an intelligent eco PDU that contains 8 x NEMA 5-15R NEMA AC outlets . It provides secure, centralized, intelligent, power management (On, Off, Power Cycle) for data center IT equipment (servers, storage systems, KVM switches, network devices, serial data devices, etc.). It also has the ability to monitor the center's health environment via sensors (these sensors are optionally purchasable).

The PE6108A eco PDU offers remote power control combined with real-time power measurement - allowing you to control and monitor the power status of devices attached to the PDU at the PDU device level from practically any location, via a TCP/IP connection.

The eco PDU supports any 3rd party v3 SNMP Manager Software and the eco sensors (Energy Management Software). The eco sensors provides you with an easy method for managing multiple devices, offering an intuitive and user-friendly graphical user interface that allows you to configure a PDU device and monitor power status of the equipment connected to it. With ALTUSEN eco sensors, the sensor-enabled eco PDU also offers comprehensive power analysis reports which can separate by departments and locations, providing precise measurements of current, voltage, power and watt-hour in a real-time display.

With its advanced security features and ease of operation, the eco PDU is a very convenient, reliable, and cost effective way to remotely manage power access for multiple computer installations and allocate power resources in an efficient way.

Please note that sensors are optional accessories. A sensor-enabled installation is required to generate a more complete energy-efficient data and chart. Higher sensor installation density is helpful to generate more accurate data.

[12 A] Got this PDU to upgrade a Bretford computer cart that had only three outlets to move a Dell Precision workstation + 32 4K monitor around the campus. You can never have enough outlets for all your peripherals and this PDU provides plenty. Best part are the two front outlets (though spacing them wider would be nice), wish this was a more common feature in PDUs. The flexible mounting options are a plus (comes with two pairs of mounting tabs - one for flush mount, the other for recessed/elevated mounting). Also appreciate having a dedicated grounding post to allow bonding the entire cart (or server rack) to ground. Minor issue, the six holes on the ends of the PDU for the mounting tabs are not symmetrical/equally spaced, so it makes installing the tabs slightly more complicated than it could be. Not sure if I'll use the cord retention bar which has slots for zip-tying each cord (zip-ties are included), but the bar easily attaches with four small screws and can be adjusted up or down. CyberPower does commit one of my pet peeves - using two different screw sizes (one for the mounting tabs, another for the retention bar) for user-assembled parts when just one size screw would not significantly increase the cost of manufacturing the product as this simplify things for the end user (especially if you end up loosing a screw). 5
