[3/8"-16] His plate works good for my cameras it seems to be the wright sizes for my cameras

[0.27 lb] I use this for a heavy spotting scope. This pistol grip is built like a tank. When I position my spotting scope and let go of the pistol grip handle, it doesn't move at all.

[0.27 lb] its difficult to determine quality from a photo... that being said this is a well made product.. extremely durable moves as easily as you need it to. Way better then the original head that came on the tripod..

[0.5 lb (0.2 kg)] Just buy it. The quickness you can move with a pistol grip ball head is amazing. Wish I had bought one sooner. Be aware that when you first get this ball head it will have a 1/4 20 screw adapter installed on the base. You'll need a flat head screwdriver to gently give a few turns to take it out so you'd be able to attach it to the 3/8-16 Thread on your Tripod.

[0.27 lb] I would always have such a hard time with the basic tripod heads, and when searching online for an alternative came across a video with this pistol grip. I have not looked back since. It was strong enough to hold a projector and tray (says it can hold up to 18lbs of weight) and it holds true so far! I would absolutely buy again if I ever needed to.

[0.27 lb] I have used one of these pistol grip ball heads for years and just purchased one for the studio where I work. It's so easy and quick to adjust. I wouldn't even look at other models. Price was reasonable also.

[0.27 lb] We have been using these for over ten years and have one for every camera in studio and out.  It is the easiest grip to use that we have found and I have tried them all.  They discontinued this grip for a short time in favor of their side grip which might be fine for video but not for stills.  If it becomes loose there is a spot to tighten it at its base with a small Allen wrench or you can send it in but really dont need to.  This is the best grip we have used.

[0.5 lb (0.2 kg)] Quick cheap and easy. Works exactly as you'd expect. Quickly screw this on your slider or cart and you have a safe home for your Aktiv head either to get the perfect shot or store the camera/head temporarily. Simple note in case you didn't realize it, this does not move like a ball head, it is a fixed flat situation even with the Aktiv head.

[Aluminum] This unit is the right size to work with 5/8 pins or U.S. Baby Receivers. The thumb screw and the option of two threaded holes for different types of 5/8 pins. The only thing that might have been nice would be a top flange to stop the travel into the baby receiver, but it probably better this way. In my application the pole I screwed this into had a wider base that worked a stop any way.

[3/8"-16] We bought 5 of these and they arrived a few days after. Highly recommend B&H
