Q: 1. what is the outside diameter of this ring?? cant find this anywhere on the web haha

A: Its basically 77mm plus the thickness of the very thin metal. So maybe 79mm total. But all that should concern you is that a 77mm diameter filter will fit in it.

Q: 2. 82 mm filter need for Tamon 24-70 lens and 72 mm filter for nikon 300 mm lens, which Cokin adapter is need for square graduated nd filter?

A: Correct on the 82mm adapter ring for your Tamron 24-70 but your Nikon 300mm needs not a 72mm adapter but a 77mm one. Once you have your adapter ring(s), you need a filter holder which is attached/held by the ring adapter. For Cokin P, the filter holder is right here: https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/459608-REG/Cokin_CBP400A_P_Series_Filter.html/pageID/accessory target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/459608-REG/Cokin_CBP400A_P_Series_Filter.html/pageID/accessory/a Hope that helps.

Q: 3. What is the outside diameter of this ring ?

A: The Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder Adapter Ring (67mm) has an outer dimater of roughly 100mm. This is meant to perfectly fit the Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder.

Q: 4. Hasselblad Carl Zeiss Distagon 1:4 50mm lens can use this project?

A: There are 3 versions of this lens , all with different filter mounts. The 50mm 1:4 CFi takes Bay 70 accessories like the Cokin adapter you reference. The earlier 50mm 1:4 CF takes Bay 60 accessories, and the even earlier 50mm 1:4 C didn't use the Bay system; it accepts Series VIII accessories. So, it depends on which generation of the lens you have.

Q: 5. Is this compatible with Lee Filter Foundation kit?

A: Sorry I bought it work with my Cokin system and cannot tell if it works with Lee.

Q: 6. I already have a Cokin kit of ring adapter/filter holder/filters for a 67 mm lens.I bought recently the Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens for Canon (with a 77mm diameter) and was wondering if I can use the (67mm) holder that I already have and just buy a 77mm ring adapter?Or do I need to buy the kit (holder and adapter)?Thank you.

A: Yes, you can still the same holder. You will just need a different adapter ring for the appropriate size filter threads of your other lens.

Q: 7. Good evening/afternoon/morning,I have two Singh Ray filters that I purchased from you a while ago and would like to know which filter holder would work with them. The filters are:Singh-Ray COKIN-P DARYL BENSON REVERSE GRAD ND-2Singh-Ray COKIN-P GALEN ROWELL GRAD ND-2 SS FILTThose are 84x120mm large.I would like to purchase the Cokin P Series filter holder but am unsure whether I should purchase an adapter ring to go with it or not (I guess I have to).The lenses I would use have a 77mm diameter and I plan to use the filters (mostly) with my Nikon AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm f / 4G ED VR lens so the filter holder should produce as little vignette as possible. Thanks a lot for advising me what to purchase (and the different options I have if more than one).Best regards,/David

A: For the Nikon 16-35mm f/4 lens, you would want to use the cokin BPW400 Wide Angle Filter Holder for P series (B&H # COWAFHP). This would be the best option for use with your P series Singh Ray filters and a wide angle zoom such as the Nikon 16-35mm f/2.8. You would then need the P Series 77mm Adapter Ring (P477) to attach the filter holder to your lens.

Q: 8. Hi I bought a Canon 14mm Prime L, but i sm not sure if this is the adapter ring for my 14mm?

A: The Canon 14mm lens has a built-in lens hood and a bulging front element. Therefore, you won't be able to use an adapter that is designed to be screwed onto the lens such as the Cokin Z-Pro filter holder. Check out adapters that are specifically made for your lens, such as the Lee SW150 Mark II. Hope this helps.

Q: 9. Will this mate with a Lee 100 filter holder?

A: No, Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder Adapter Ring can not be attach to LEE Filters LEE100 Filter Holder. Cokin adapter rings slide on the holder while Lee rings are design with a bayonet to clamp on their holder. Both system are proprietaries.

Q: 10. Is this ring adapter compatible with Lee filter holder?

A: I am not sure, as I bought mine for the Cokin filters, which it works fine with... If this just slides into the Lee filter holder, it should work fine...HTH

[0.16 lb] It is a fundamental part for the Cokin filter system. Even if really thin to avoid vignetting, I had to remove my double-tread clear filter to avoid wignetting.

[0.16 lb] I bought this X-Pro adapter ring (with X-Pro filter holder and 121M Grad ND) specifically to be used with my Sigma 10-20mm lens and landscape work. I went with the X-Pro specifically due to concerns I had with vignetting on this style of 'ultra'-wide lens. I am happy to report that I am vignette free! The adapter ring connects/secures very firmly to the X-Pro filter holder and threads very nicely onto my lens. The quality is good - I can't image how it could be any better for this price point.

[77 mm] Works very well. Easily screws into lens or other filter threads and holds fast. Fits the filter holder perfectly with no sliding or slop. Highly satisfied.

[Cokin X-Pro] I purchased this adapter ring as it will fit several of my cnon 77mm lenses. The zpro line construction as very good and screws onto my lenses with no trouble. I would caution that you should pay close attention to threading it on as the threads are quite fine and could possibly cross thread if mounted carelessly. Some have complained of the white lettering on the front of the adapter reflecting on filters, but I find it noe more a problem than the white lens info on Canon lenses.
