The Elite Screens SableFrame 66" Fixed Frame Projector Screenfeatures a CineGrey 3D screen surface, which is an angular reflective front projection material designed to reject ambient light while maintaining superb picture quality. The CineGrey 3D is the perfect solution for rooms that have little or no control over incidental light. This means that it's an ideal fit for family rooms as well as lecture halls, boardrooms, sports bars, training facilities, and other business environments. This is well suited for low-lumen output projectors.

The CineGrey 3D screen material is superior to traditional white or gray materials in its ability to maintain a sharp, bright image, regardless of ambient light. The angular reflective material incorporates a diffusion layer over a highly reflective surface. This causes direct light from the projector to reflect squarely into the viewer's field of vision, while the outer contrast layer enhances image quality while absorbing indirect ambient light.

[Sable Frame] I upgraded my church to widescreen. Our old screens were Da-Lite snapons, and the frames were held on my clamps screwed into the wall. These Elite screens were a touch tricky to assemble (the frame must be assembled, then the vinyl gets stretched across the frame and you use plastic clips to systematically secure it in place) but they are mounted to the wall with 4 (3 on top, 1 bottom) little metal plates. Removal is as easy as unlatching it on the bottom, picking it up from the top via a ladder and setting it down. Therefore, basically hassle free if you need to repaint or something. The whole structure is pretty light for 2 people. As for the picture, they are fine. I can't really speak to the screen specs because I just needed something that works. I have zero complaints. The deep black velvet on the frame helps a lot with getting the projection aligned. I would buy these again. The price is just superb. 5

[1.2] I ordered this screen to go with my BenQ HT3550 projector (also through B&H Photo) and had about a week of viewing on a bare white wall prior to the screen being put up. The difference is dramatic. The two areas the projectors trail behind TV's is color reproduction and contrast. I was initially worried that the ES Sable Frame CineGrey fixed frame screen may sacrifice color vibrance for the sake of contrast, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the brightness and color brilliance did not suffer at all even though the contrast was boosted tremendously. In my light-controlled room, both contrast, color, brightness, and sharpness was significantly better than my 55 inch 4k HDR LED T.V., which was not at all the case when I was projecting onto a bare white wall. Well worth every penny. Installation notes: definitely need 2 people to do the job, and just in case you are wondering if they accidentally gave you the wrong fabric...just keep rolling it out. There was a good 4 to 5 feet of white protective fabric before you actually see the screen material. Oh, and once the frame itself is assembled, I highly recommend going ahead and installing the top mounts to your wall, making sure wverything lines up with the bare frame, and then putting the frame back down and attaching the fabric. It is a lot easier to make adjustments and alignments without the fabric in and this also reduces the risk of accidental damage to the fabric. 5

[1.2] I was surprised at how easily it assembled and how tight and flat the surface is ( not a ripple in it, like my old Da-lite Perm Wall had ). The quality is excellent. And the images from my Epson 5040ub on the screen are brighter, sharper and clearer and the color is more accurate. A great purchase. I tip my hat to Elite and to B& H ( for their great service). Thank you both! 5

[Sable Frame] I bought it for my light controlled home theater room to increase my already high contrast protector. The gray screen gives the picture an extremely beautiful image with vivid colors an excellent contrast and brightness. The screen should be built with more quality material to provide a more strong screen especially on the back. Should have a blacks back cover. 5

[Sable Frame] Took two weeks to get since it was a special order. But worth the wait. I love the upgrade. I went from a white 1.0 gain to cinegrey 1.2 gain and what an improvement with the contrast. Especially the blacks stand out. But beware, you have adjust the brightness of the projector otherwise you end up with more projector light in the middle. Also, elite screens changed the framing from the older heavier and sturdier materials to the new more flimsy assembly and lighter aluminum framing on the SaberFrames. 5
