With a 100% cotton rag base made from a hot press mould, this 25-sheet pack of 13 x 19" black and white construction paper artfrom black and white construction paper artoffers photographers and artists a smooth matte surface with a high resolution coating that provides a high D-max and wide color gamut. The 270 gsm paper is naturally white with no optical brightening agents, is acid- and lignin-free in its construction, and is alkaline buffered to increase longevity. Also, it has a thickness of 15 mil and is single-sided. Finally, the medium dries nearly instantly and is water-resistant.

Q: 6. Would this be suitable for small posters (18X32)?

A: If you only need 18 inches wide, then I would get a 20 or 24 wide roll. Posters are usually printed on a semigloss/luster-type paper. The Canon Satin Photographic Paper (240GSM - 24 x100') B&H # CAPPS24100N would be a better option.

A: The shelf life of the Edwal LFN Wetting Agent for Black & White Film & Paper is several years as long as it's not mixed.

Q: 8. I live in warm climate the Caribbean to exact so my water temp are generally 25-29 degrees all the time. Can I use this developer to develop at such temperatures?

A: It is important when using this developer to get the temperature down to 20 C, or 68 F. When the temperature is higher it is necessary to greatly shorten the developing time, otherwise the paper can be over developed, and gray out the whites. A little ice can help to lower the temperature.

A: Life span of the paper is dependent mostly on environmental factors and applications such as laminating, mounting, and use case.

Q: 10. How thick is this? I need to get it to feed through my inkjet printer and it cannot be too thick as I don't have a manual feeder.

[3.6 lb] This is the developer for print solarization AKA Sabattier effect. Just follow the enclosed directions; mix, dilute and expose your paper as directed (directions are attached to the can) and your solarized images will glow with the tone reversals and dramatic Mackie lines that characterize this otherworldly look. Yes you can use your normal paper developer for this effect but you will find it much more difficult to achieve results that are even close to the Solarol product. I have used Solarol for years in my photography classes in high school and college and it is the developer for print solarization. 5

[25x Sheet Paper] After all these years Solarol is still the best developer to use when you solariz images. I love the tonality that I get on my prints with this product. I hope it continues to be the same for many more years. 5

[25x Sheet Paper] Unlike some products, the gallon savings on this product are substantial. I pour it off to fill quart bottles, because it takes me a good while to work through it. Mixed 1:9, it has excellent capacity. I like the tones I get with it on my warm-tone papers, and that it seems to slightly diminish the tendency toward reddish mid-tones in selenium toner. 5

[Cotton Rag] This paper produce very special photographic high quality prints. The thickness of the paper is very important and thick. It is my choice for archival photographic prints with a non glossy surface. 5
