With a 100% cotton rag base made from a hot press mould, this 20-sheet pack of 8.5 x 11" black and white construction paper artfrom black and white construction paper artoffers photographers and artists a smooth matte surface with a high resolution coating that provides a high D-max and wide color gamut. The 205 gsm paper is naturally white with no optical brightening agents, is acid- and lignin-free in its construction, and is alkaline buffered to increase longevity. Also, it has a thickness of 12 mil and is double-sided. Finally, the medium dries nearly instantly and is water-resistant.

A: It is important when using this developer to get the temperature down to 20 C, or 68 F. When the temperature is higher it is necessary to greatly shorten the developing time, otherwise the paper can be over developed, and gray out the whites. A little ice can help to lower the temperature.

Q: 9. About how many prints could you make with this before it's exhausted? 5x7 or 8x10 size.

A: This developer does not seem to oxidize quickly. I cant give the exact number, but I have done 30 -8 x 10 prints without noticing an issue. I cant say enough great things about this developer.

Q: 10. How much developer. Does this container make?

A: You can make 2 quarts of developer with this container.

[205 gsm] Like all eco pro products, this one makes a lot of promises. And like all of the eco pro products I've used, this one seems to deliver. It is a bit slower than the previous paper developer I was using, but it is just as sharp. 5

[20x Sheet Paper] Unlike some products, the gallon savings on this product are substantial. I pour it off to fill quart bottles, because it takes me a good while to work through it. Mixed 1:9, it has excellent capacity. I like the tones I get with it on my warm-tone papers, and that it seems to slightly diminish the tendency toward reddish mid-tones in selenium toner. 5

[1.6 lb] This paper produce very special photographic high quality prints. The thickness of the paper is very important and thick. It is my choice for archival photographic prints with a non glossy surface. 5

[1.6 lb] I live in the country and have a well and septic system and can't put poison into the ground. This allows me to have a darkroom without worry. I don't notice any difference in quality from the Ilford developer I used to use. 5

[Matte] Great paper, nice warm look, no curl. Printed 5x7 Graduation invite in my wide format printer trimmed them up and looked perfect. 5

[Double] I bought this because my darkroom is in my basement and I want to take every precaution that I can to make sure I don't have toxic chemicals around my family. I seem to be pretty sensitive to chemical smells and I don't notice any perfume or chemical smell at all. I don't notice a difference in my prints since switching from the ilford developer I was using. 5

[1.6 lb] As a teacher I use this for my students feeling more positive about what I let them work with as well as knowing/hoping that what I put down the drain is less or not toxic at all. There is no difference in quality between this and any other photo chemicals I have used. To be even more eco friendly use the Fixer for multiple days, developer does need to be replaced each day though. 5
