Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what type of amp is best for this mic and harmonica?

A: Many harmonica players like to use a microphone through a small combo amplifier designed for guitar to achieve a tone with a little more grit and dirtier tone than a standard PA speaker. Perhaps something like the Blackstar Debut 15E Stereo 15W Practice Guitar Amplifier (B&H # BLDEBUT15EBG) or the Roland CUBE-10GX Guitar Amplifier (B&H # ROCUBE10GX), or the VOX Valvetronix VT20X Hybrid Modeling 1x8 Combo Guitar Amplifier (B&H # VOVT20X).

Q: 2. How accurate are the Kelvin measurements? I am looking for a meter that can measure 3000K vs 3500K vs 4000K vs 4500K light sources

A: The Illuminati Instrument IM150 Light and Color Meter will accurately measure the Kelvin at those levels and more precisely than that, if required.

Q: 3. Is this model made in USA or China?

A: The Whirlwind SELECTOR is made in the USA.

Q: 4. Where is it made?

A: Illuminati Instrument IM150 Light and Color Meter country of origin is USA.

Q: 5. Can this read flash wirelessly?

A: Yes the IM150 takes wireless Incident readings both continuous and flash.

Q: 6. Is there a sensitivity rating for this mic?

A: Yes it does. Sensitivity in free field, no load (1kHz)1,8 mV/Pa. Also keep in mind there is Low sensitivity to impact and handling noise. This is due to the very high sound pressure handling capability.

Q: 7. Can the meter be calibrated ?

A: No and the meter is not accurate at all. I used it on several shoots before returning it.

Q: 8. does the AKAI EWI5000 include a case?

A: The Akai EWI5000 does not include a case.

Q: 9. Are you able to switch between the different available gages while in flight? Or do you choose one and you are stuck with it?

A: Yes. Easily toggle between 15 different displays and readouts.

Q: 10. Is this dual voltage 100v-240v?

A: This AC/DC power supply is rated 100-240v AC 50/60Hz.

[ViennaKey] I watched many microphone reviews and shootouts, many drummers and engineers recommended it. I had the opportunity to purchase less expensive mics new and used but I purchased the Audix D6 and I am SUPER PLEASED at the sound. Not muddy but has great low end and has that punch! U need this in your life!

[Yes] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely impressed with this Pyle keyboard. It is very well made, has amazing features and sound quality. It even comes with a travel bag for portability.
My daughter has not stopped playing since the day we got it and she’s never played before.
Perfect for a new or experienced player.

[Yes] A fantastic value for the money. From beginner to expert musician can have so much fun and enjoyment with this recorder type instrument. Also great that it uses the recorder base for the fingering and is very intuitive. Being able to change keys, makes it fantastic for playing with transposing instruments.
The 10 different voices : two being oriental instruments the other eight being western add to its flexibility. For instance, the Trumpet voice can be shifted lower so that it sounds and can play the range of the trombone. ,

[Yes] We compared it with several brands and chose the Audix D6 because its capture was the most real and pure.

[ViennaKey] I’m not a musician, I can’t read music, and I don’t know music theory. But I can play this and it makes me smile! I’ve had this instrument (yes, it is an actual instrument - not a toy) for close to a month now and I’ve played it almost every day. It’s allowing me to learn to make music while also having fun with music.

The strumplate is magical. It feels so nice and accurate. It is sensitive enough to pick up the lightest touch (although, it is not force sensitive in how it plays a chord). The “keyboard” if you will is something you either get used to or may not enjoy. I’ve learned to accept it, as its keys are firm, yet mushy-ish rubber buttons. The body is made of a high quality and strong plastic. It isn’t flimsy feeling in my observations and feels sturdy when you play into it. Once you learn its characteristics, you can be one with the Omnichord and just have a blast!

This instrument has many uses too, as it can be used as a MIDI controller! I’ve connected it to my MacBook Pro and have played so many different sounds/electronic instruments through Logic Pro. I’m still learning the ins and outs, but I’m seeing limitless options with how you can play this thing! The onboard sounds are crisp, clear, and this little speaker can play big! Also, knowing it’s part analog, part electronic is neat. You can tell there was a lot of thinking that went into this.

Overall, I’d buy this again if I ever needed to (who knows how many Suzuki will make though!) simply because it’s has captured my attention for this long and brings a smile to may face every time I play it. You’ll be the hit of the crowd when you show this off, too! It’s unique, it stands out, and it’s simply a joyful part of my day.

[ViennaKey] I bought this to replace my Samson's broken mount. This feels sturdier and seems to be made slightly better. The sprung hinge also feels less weak. Get it as a backup!

[ViennaKey] This program was a long time coming. I had been an owner of one of the original mid 1960s Compact Combos for many years, until things started to break down. And of course, next to impossible to find parts. Or people that are able and willing to repair them. Some of the modern keyboards do have some of the Farfisa sounds, but in reality, only a small amount of them(like maybe 2 or 3 of them). In reality, there is more of a diverse amount of tones that the Farfisa produced. Even resorted to buying one of the Electro-Harmonix C9 organ emulator pedals, but that still wasn't enough of these particular kinds of tone for me. Then Arturia started coming out with these new virtual instrument programs. The dealers that I normally buy from carried the similar type of Vox Continental program(which would have probably worked fine, and would have settled for it) but knowing that the Farfisa program was also being made, I had to search to see who carried it. No regrets here. All the sounds that I was familiar with, and where they were situated on the virtual keyboard screen. What was interesting that they had the option of effects pedals in this program......and I would always run my Farfisa through a Phase Shifter and/or a Flanger when I had it. Also learned a few things that I did not know about my original instrument. There used to be this one controller that stuck out of the bottom, that you controlled with your knee. When I bought my original Farfisa(used, back in the mid-70s), that knee controller was missing, and it was something I never noticed. So, a bit more historical and technical information on the instrument you played regularly---but didn't know about. It's easy to get a keyboard that has the piano, Rhodes, and Hammond sounds, to name a few......but nobody seemed to get the Farfisa sounds right. Until now. Great timing, on the part of Arturia!

[Yes] I'm just getting to know the program, and haven't had enough time with it, but the sound samples are fantastic - just what I was looking for.
