With a luster surface finish and micropore texture, this 500-sheet pack of 8.5 x 11" 8.5 x 11 laminate sheets 500 ctfrom 8.5 x 11 laminate sheets 500 ctoffers artists and photographers a luxurious E-surface for presenting their work. The resin-coated base offers a basis weight of 260 gsm along with a thickness of 10.4 mil. Also, it features a bright white finish thanks to the addition of optical brightening agents. The medium dries nearly instantly and is water-resistant to help limit damage from handling.

Q: 2. This backlight paper is listed as 7 mil. on the cut sheet and 4 mil in the spec. what is the factual mil thickness?. Thank you

A: The package I bought cites 7 Mil. I put a very tired micrometer on a sheet and I'd say that is correct. Certainly closer to 7 than to 4 mil.I have to add that I was never able to get reasonable saturation or density in my prints (SureColor P800 with Epson pigment ink. I got a far better result printing on glossy paper (without watermark on the back) and backlighting that. I don't remember if I put the ink side in or out.

Q: 3. Is this paper weatherproof. Our staff works in the field the majority of the time, and require paper that is weatherproof.Thank you.

A: The paper is not weather proof.

Q: 4. Will this sampler work with the Epson 3880?

A: Although I have not run all the paper types yet, the ones I have used had no problems running through the 3880

Q: 5. will this work with an epson inkjet printer?

A: Yes it is compatible with Epson printers. Its thickness is only 5 mil so it will not have any issues with even the consumer Epson printers.

[Luster] This paper is 10 bucks normal price ($4.49 on sale), which is maybe a buck more than other brands, but feels heavier to me, can print 2-sided inkjet without showing through the other side, and has never jammed for me, not even once, and I'm on my 2nd or 3rd ream, using with my 2nd or 3rd Epson inkjet printer, but also works beautifully with HP Laser printers. I honestly won't even consider other brands of paper at this point, I've been that happy with Epson (I'd even gladly pay twice the price of what they're charging, because the quality is so superior). 5

[Yes] I maintain that Epson Bright White Paper is the best copy paper available for ink jet printing, with a superior bond and luminance. When this product is available on sale, the deal is unbeatable. 5
