Every day, for local, national, and international news reports, the Electro-Voice RE50L with Long Handle gathers the audio for news interviews. Designed specifically as an ENG/EFP interview microphone, the RE50L's custom Dyna-Damp "mic-within-a-mic" shockmount provides extremely low handling noise for clear sound. A large, built-in Acoustifoam filter keeps wind and P-pop noise to an absolute minimum, indoors or out. Frequency response is 80 Hz to 13 kHz.

Measuring 9.5" in total length, this extended handle length version delivers all of the sonic performance of the RE50B, adding the virtues of a longer body length for ease-of-use, helping keep the reporter's hand out of the shot.

A: The Electro-Voice 635A is a wired dynamic mic. most commonly used for interviews. There unfortunately is no instruction manual, but all documentation available is downloadable from the Electro-Voice website.

Q: 8. Does this mic need phantom power?

A: No, the Electro-Voice RE50N/D-B Omnidirectional Dynamic Shockmounted ENG Microphone with Neodymium Capsule does not require phantom power for operation. Phantom power should not be engaged on the microphone input used for the RE50N/D-B.

Q: 9. Will this work with a Canon Rebel T5i?

[End Address] Received as promised and on time. Works as promised with my current body pack and sound quality was outstanding. I would like to see a slightly longer boom and and beefier connection boot but it works great as is and I recommend it. 5

[None] When running to grab an interview, I've always worried about my stick mic rattling around in my camera bag or falling out of my jacket pocket. With this holster those worries are gone. If it's in the bag, the holster material cushions the mic - and if not, the holster slips onto my belt so it's close at hand when needed. 5
