With a 100% cotton rag base made from a hot press mould, this 20-sheet pack of 8.5 x 11" business cards paper stock smoothfrom business cards paper stock smoothoffers photographers and artists a smooth matte surface with a high resolution coating that provides a high D-max and wide color gamut. The 325 gsm paper is naturally white with no optical brightening agents, is acid- and lignin-free in its construction, and is alkaline buffered to increase longevity. Also, it has a thickness of 17 mil and is double-sided. Finally, the medium dries nearly instantly and is water-resistant.

In anticipation of receiving this paper (I just ordered it), I went to Ilford's website to download the icc profile for my Canon ipf6400 printer (the description says "The paper is compatible with both dye and pigment based ink systems..." When I select the paper on Ilford's website and put in my printer and this paper combination there's no profile associated for this printer / paper combo. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

A: They may not have made a profile for the Canon IPF6400 printer. So in that case I would suggest using the closest Canon option. Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth.

A: The matte setting is recommended.

Q: 7. does anyone know which profile to use. there are two on the Ilford site n_GPSPP11_EPSpro7890_9890_PGPP250n and n_GPSPP12_EPSpro7890_9890_PGPP250n?

A: For this specific paper which is 310 gsm, you should use the 2nd one which is n_GPSPP12_EPSpro7890_9890_PGPP250n the first one GPSPP11 profile is for the same paper if it's 290 gsm. Ilford has in the past changed weights of papers therefore they have multiple profiles.

Q: 8. Okay so is this paper OBA, low OBA or no OBA?

A: The level of OBA used in the Kodak PROFESSIONAL Inkjet Smooth Fine Art Paper is not specified.

Q: 9. What's the OBA Content?

A: Kodak and other paper makers do not specify a specific amount for OBA content other than to say if a paper has OBA, low OBA, or no OBA.

Q: 10. Is the paper acid fast paper?

A: Ilford Galerie Prestige Smooth Gloss Paper is not a "fine art" paper so it is not acid free.

[325 gsm] I have used Ilford photography products for 50 plus years. This company was saved by the brave action taken by employees to buy the business and made it successful again. They make superior products to their competitors and have been for many years. This paper is what I prefer when a smooth glossy paper is needed. You won't be disappointed and they provide an ICC profile for many oif the name brand printers model. 5

[11.4 x 8.8 x 1"] Very nice smooth gloss that works great for much of my nature photography. I wanted a heavy gloss paper that comes close to Fuji crystal archive. This paper fits that need well. Note: after printing with my Epson 3880, I run the print through my other printer using a gloss over from inkjet mall. That really makes the paper sing. 5
