[0.5 lb] The transparencies feel very thin and flimsy, but they print well and easily show a full tonal range. For the price, these are great and make good digital negatives.

[5 Mil] These seem to designed and manufactured just as they should be. Some users may want to cut one edge on the long side so that prints can easily be pulled out for viewing,, but the material is certainly very clear and this shouldn't be necessary. Note that if you were hoping that these will easily fit back into the 17x22 box that your inkjet paper came in, they are not a good fit and it's best to look for an alternative such as the Onyx boxes from the same supplier.

[0.5 lb] I needed old fashioned overhead projector transparencies for my laser printer. I intend to make printed circuit board iron on etching resists. When something becomes "obsolete" that seems to be an excuse for most office supply stores to price gouge. For less than the price of ten laser transparencies [that I could find any place else on line or off] I now fifty.
