A: Unlike the standards for placement of 15mm rods, there is no standard for handles and unfortunately we are not able to test the compatibility of these two different brands of handles. That being said they do look very similar and the swap may very well work.

Q: 3. Would this fit the Sony NEX Fs100?

A: We are not sure if the two screws of this Wooden Camera handle can fit the two screw holes on the top of the FS-100 camera. We would rather suggest the Wooden Camera NATO Handle (Plus) B&H # WOWC175600 and the Wooden Camera WC-151400 Safety NATO Accessory Rail (3.9 ) B&H # WOWC151400. This has enough freedom of adjustment that it should work. Be aware that between the FS100's mic handle and the LCD screen, there is not a lot of room for a handle and we suspect it will be coming on and off a lot. We also have taken heed of another user who has said that during production, they frequently were removing and replacing this handle and that the screw-on version became a hindrance.

Q: 4. I have a Blackmagic Cinema Camera, with my plate, rails, follow focus and matte box on bottom. I'm new to the BMCC and the need for elaborate rigging, so I'm not sure how much I will need to eventually mount (light, audio, monitor, etc.), but I'm sure it will be more than I think! Can anyone comment on the versatility/expandability of this handle system in this regard? Do I need to look at a handle on rails or with more mounting points? Any red flags I should be aware of? A: If you have a wooden camera (or most any other brand) cage to mount it to they'll always have countless mounting points to attach accessories like monitor arms and such. So I don't think you'll have problem with expandability.I own this handle, however, I have since bought the nato handle version. Which attaches to a rail in a kind of quick release set up. I found that as I changed lenses which would in turn change the balance and weight of the rig I need to take the handle of a relocated (and sometimes turn it around) to rebalance everything. This got a bit tedious with screw on version. With the Nato handle it takes seconds.Hope this helps.

A: 1) As useful as you might need them. You can't expect to use them for many things at the same your trying to carry your camera, but they do come handy when you have your camera on tripod only shoots, like interviews, and you the need to add some small accessories.2) If I had to chose one word for this item: High Quality (thats two). Aside from the wooden label, everything is hard, solid steel. Quality is on par with Zacuto.3) No. I bought Zacuto's 3 rail and they both paired very nicely.4) Very comfortable. Will fit for almost any type of camera handling you might need. I use it for my GH4 rig (7 monitor, cage, dslr baseplate, rods and EF glass) and can't be happy enough.
