The built in filter coffee machineis a basic contrast filter, primarily for use with black and white film, that very strongly darkens skies and blues, increases contrast, and is often used for outdoor photography to emphasize contrast and shadows. There is an approximate 4x filter factor with this filter, requiring an increase of 2 stops for normal exposure.

The front and rear surfaces of the filter both feature a single anti-reflection coating. Each coating helps to increase light transmission by reducing reflections, scattered light, and ghosting. Additionally, they offer protection to the filter substrate while helping to keep the glass clean for longer than uncoated glass.

This Heliopan filter is constructed from Schott glass for increased optical clarity and color fidelity. It features a brass filter ring for durability as well as jamming prevention.

Dual threading with 27mm front filter threads permits combining with other filters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What's the difference between this machine and the Z-350 Fazer from Antari? How can I choose between this machine, the Z-350 Fazer and the similarly priced MAGMA Prime 700w haze machine from Elation?

A: The Antari HZ-350 Haze Machine can output up to 2,400 Cubic Feet in 1 Minute. The Antari Z-350 Fazer up to 3000 feet in a minute and the Elation Professional MAGMA PRIME 700W up to 4000 feet per minute. That is the main differences between them.

Q: 2. Can the UniFi Dream Machine Pro be controlled by a separate Cloud Key? I have multiple locations operating, need to add 1 more.

A: The Ubiquiti Networks UniFi Dream Machine Pro can only be managed by it's built-in controller, not a separate Cloud Key.

Q: 3. Does this model have a built in speaker?

A: This does not have a built in speaker. You can plug it into external speakers.

Q: 4. how many db's does this model produce at 100% output?

A: According to the manufacturer, the decibel (dB) measurement of the unit is 70.8 dB measured at 1 meter.

Q: 5. How do you change channel on mic

A: The two wireless microphones that are included with the Karaoking G100 Karaoke Machine Battery-Powered Speaker do not have switchable channels. They are each fixed to a preset frequency.

Q: 6. Can this be used for speakers that come to luncheons of about 80 people sitting at about 10 tables? At some point, we might add music, but for now, we want it for speakers and lecturers.

A: The Karaoking G100 is a karaoke machine with an 8" speaker and two wireless handheld mics and a built-in disco light show. It is intended for singing but can also be used as a PA system for speaking at small events. You may want a more powerful PA system with a larger speaker like the Pyle Pro PPHP1299WU (B&H # PYPPHP1299WU) which has a 12" speaker and is rated at 1000W peak power or the Pyle Pro PPHP1599WU (B&H # PYPPHP1599WU) which has a 15" speaker and is rated at 1600W peak power. Both systems have Bluetooth, a built-in FM radio, and include two wireless handheld microphones. They can also be mounted on a speaker stand like the Pyle Pro Height-Adjustable Tripod Speaker Stand (B&H # PYPSTND1) for better projection.

Q: 7. Most karaoke players have a key control which changes the key signature up or down by 6 half-tones. Does this machine have this capability?

A: The Karaoking G100 Karaoke Machine Battery-Powered Speaker with Two Wireless Mics and Built-In Light Show does not specify the ability to adjust pitch or key signature.

Q: 8. Are there any fees associated with the device? Are all updates (including security definitions) free?

A: Outside of paying your ISP for internet service, no, there are no fees associated with the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi Dream Machine Pro BH #UBUDMPRO.

[Multi Coated] The Korg Volca Beats is a joy to use. The analog tones - kick, snare, toms, and hats - really are the heart of this little machine. They sound so fantastic and their control is minimal but covers a wide range of tonal shaping possibilities. The hats are the standout. The grain knob really has a unique element of sonic control. I bought the Volca Beats, again after having one many years ago, specifically for the sound of the hats. Programming with MIDI notes is the way to go here. You could definitely do a cool one-bar performance on this beast especially getting crazy with the Stutter function but, for my purposes, writing techno-electronic tracks, MIDI note triggering from a DAW is ideal. For fine control, I recommend sequencing your MIDI notes and then recording samples of each instrument for use with sampler instances in your DAW. This way you can adjust the phase of each sample to really gel everything as opposed to having a random analog phase to each tone. Also recording samples allows you to process each sound individually and that is really what a polished & professional sound is all about. The PCM sounds can be cool and sound wonderfully degraded at low pitch settings but honestly you can ignore them and stick to the analog section without losing ANY value to the machine. Korg has delivered almost certainly the best budget friendly analog (and PCM) drum machine with the Volca Beats.

[Multi Coated] I've had the Beats for about a month now and it's been great. In use, it is very immediate...you are creating beats and rhythms within seconds. I would not count on it for its snare sound (unless you mod it). For me, I use it primarily as a glitch machine. The kick sound is very powerful and quite deep and full sounding. The hats are capable of a wide range of sound from hat-like to glitch-like. One really buys these for the stutter mechanism...that's when the box really gets going.

[0.085 lb] Super simple, but for a fun time mixing beats it works remarkably well.

[0.085 lb] Quick, easy, small drum sequencer with great features. The stutter knobs make this unit really cool. Just twist to add either a simple delay, or change the groove entirely. The controls over kick snare tom and hat are intuitive and quick. Can create significant feel changes very easily. Definitely see myself using this often to demo grooves, and layer into larger arrangements.

[0.085 lb] Yes, it sounds amazing. The snare is not the 808 snare, but you can get some really cool sounds out of it, especially with the stutter. I usually layer it with the clap, which you can tune via PCM, and it sounds outstanding, so I am not modding it. Don't get bogged down in snaresville, this thing has a huge kick drum, stutter feature, amazing step jumping, a ribbon controller, it syncs to your DAW's external clock, and it has live motion and stutter recording. Believe me when I say it's worth every penny, even if you end up using a different drum machine, this thing is a mini beast and so fun!

[Multi Coated] I come from a garage band background and wanted to learn what beat making was all about. Man, is it fun on this thing! The instructions are limited, and I found the tutorials on macprovideo worth the additional price.

[Multi Coated] I love it! I specifically decided to go with the Volca Beats for three reasons - to mess with analog, to get used to a sequencer, and of course the price! Anything in the same price range or cheaper seems to be mostly preset grooves or lack a sequencer. If I ever decide to upgrade, then there are lots of options and features to choose from. But for starting out and for the price, it’s great. The volume output for everything but the kick is pretty low, so even though I do jam along with it with my guitar and keyboard, eventually I want to buy a pedal to boost the volume of it. I use it everyday though, and get creative to work around the limitations, so if you are open minded and starting out in the world of drum machines, I would highly recommend this one.

[0.085 lb] Intuitive and portable. Works well in live applications as well as in the studio. Being able to access and manipulate multiple parameters at the same time (mute control of instrument parts, fx, and part pitch / speed) makes it handy for live performance. Moving back and forth between triggering samples and step sequencing works well for ideation.
