A: The HR-2 headset ships with multiple connection options. The HR-2R5 features a 5-pin male XLR connector. The HR-2A5 features a 5-pin XLR female connector.

Q: 3. Would this headset work with a Riedel beltpack?

A: This headset is wired for Telex intercom systems with a 4-pin female connector. so if the pin configuration is different for Riedel, you may have to disconnect and solder the connections appropriately.

Q: 4. Does it come with a case? Would like to keep it protected and in good condition while traveling.

A: Except for the standard cardboard shipping box, there is no traveling case . However, the shipping cardboard box might be sturdy enough.

Q: 5. When I plug one of these headsets with the 5 pin connector into an RTS two-channel beltpack, I can only hear channel 1. What am I doing wrong?

A: There is a jumper inside the beltpack that configures the box to work either in stereo or mono mode. The headset has a 5 pin connector, but is still a mono headset. You'll need to set that beltpack to mono for you to be able to hear both channels on this headset.Hope it helps.

A: The Telex HR-1L - Single-Muff Communications Headphone has an unterminated cable (no connector) so you will need to wire it with the connector that your system requires.

A: Unfortunately Telex does not currently offer a PH88 headset version that is compatible with an iPhone.

[5' / 1.5 m] ....and with these you get a GREAT headset. This was the second round of headsets I ordered after being displeased with the build quality of another brand that I had previously ordered. These are quality, solid built, headsets and the work perfectly for their intended purpose. I bought them for camera operators to use in a house of worship setting. The dual sided earphones offer ample sound isolation for our camera operators. The room noise level peaks around 90db and the camera operators have no issue hearing the director. Great Buy, will buy more in the future as needed! 5

[Single Earpiece] We are a Performing Arts High School. Several performances each year. These headphones allow us to clearly and easily communicate with backstage, spots, sound booth and orchestra pit. The headphones assure a smooth running, flawless show. [5' / 1.5 m] It's a great headset. It has three different pressure settings, which makes it very comfortable. Has very clear sound, and folds into a ball. Retired my old telex model for it. 5

[150 Ohms] These work great with remote camera locations. They block out all of the noise that is around you when you are filming. Would highly recommend them! 5

[5' / 1.5 m] i am a semi-retired, professional sports camera operator, out of the boston/hartford market. i have done over 2000 shows of varying levels. little league, to the world series and stanley cup. i was at low third for 20 years at fenway, and right handheld at the bruins for the same. i quit the bruins about 5 years ago, when i could no longer stand the noise level (PA generated) at TD Garden. and it's not just there. small arenas like Quinnipiac, Holy Cross, etc. seem to think loud equals exciting, thus, louder equals more exciting. one day at providence college, the truck happened to have these heads sets. i loved them immediately, as the noise cancelling was fantastic. they sound good too. both to me, and to others when i speak. i asked a techno-geek where i could get a pair. he sent me a link. my husband saw the link, and got me them for christmas. 2 shows in...maybe I'll unretire 5
