The black A5 size mechanical sketch pencilfrom mechanical sketch pencilis a spiral-bound book, which contains 60 sheets / 120 pages of paper for writing and sketching. Each page has a basis weight of 120 gsm, which makes it thick and durable.

Opening this book reveals a lined/ruled area on the left side where you can write descriptions, ideas, or notes. On the right side, you will find a blank area to sketch or draw in with a pencil, charcoal, or crayon. In addition, the Sketch Diary has an inside pocket in the rear cover, so you can save a small souvenir or note. With the two included labels the cover can be personalized as well.

[120 gsm] Absolutely love this new pencil! Had an original Rite in the Rain pencil that broke - this is 100X better. Thick leads that don't break and the pencil itself is solid with some weight to it. So happy that I bought 2 more for my truck and wife's car. 5

[120 gsm] I’ve loved the Apple Pencil since generation 1. I’ve used the generation 2 and didn’t imagine that it could get any better. I only got the Pro because I upgraded to the iPad Pro M4. I love this pencil! Especially the “squeeze” function and the Haptic Touch. 5

[Spiral] I'm upgrading from the 1st generation, and it's very nice to have it charge magnetically while sitting in the case. The whole squeeze to access tools seems a little like magic. You just hold the pencil above where you're working and squeeze and various tools become available (depending on the particular app being used.). Very solid feel and comfortable. 5

[8.5 x 6 x 0.9"] I had to get this pencil because the original pencil I had for the first generation iPad Pro won't work with my new M4 iPad. However, although a bit grumpy at having to fork out to buy what I thought I owned, after some use I'm content that the new pencil, like the M4 iPad is enough of an improvement that I'm happy with my purchase. 5
