A: Hey Joey, I just got an email from B&H asking to help answer your question. We have set ours up and tested it and it seems to work well. There is a opening underneath, where the mirror and light bulb go. Lay your image on your flat surface, and possibly under a small pane of glass to hold it down flat. Position the projector with the opening on the bottom directly on top of your image. I have a 100x equivalent CFL bulb in ours. In a darkened room it should work fine. Also the front tube for focus, the instructions say turn to change focus, but really what you do is slide it out or in depending on the throw length to your canvas or wall you are projecting onto. A: According to Gepe, the Gepe Storage Tray for Thirty 2-1/4" Slides was specifically designed for use with their 2501, 2601, 7030, and 7031 slide mounts. Unfortunately, all four mounts have since been discontinued and are no longer available for purchase, and I cannot find the exterior measurement of the above slide mounts. One source I found indicates the outer dimensions are 2.75" x 2.75 " (6.98 cm x 6.98 cm), but I could not obtain confirmation. It seems it may work, but do note if it does not fit, you would have 30 days from the original purchase date to return the slide storage tray for an exchange or refund.
