A: According to Avinair's owner Dracast, they have removed all Avinair tranceivers transmitters and receivers from B&H's and their own website. They are not available at this time. As a substitute, we wish to recommend for you the A-Neuvideo 4x4 HDMI & HDBaseT Matrix Switcher.

A: Yes, they will work over Cat 5e.

Q: 4. Does this card support RoCE/RDMA?

A: The OWC 10G Ethernet PCIe Network Card (BH #OWCPCIE10GB), does not support RoCE or RDMA functions.

A: Yes

A: This module uses SFP28, which is cross-compatible with SFP+. However, SFP28 supports a speed of 25 Gb/s with higher bandwidth than SFP+, so although it will work with an SFP+ connection you will not realize the full capabilities of SFP28.

Q: 10. Does this introduce any noticeable delay when connected through a wired Gigabit switch in its own VLAN? Other questions/answers say it has no delay in point-to-point mode. I'm interested if there is any delay through a gigabit switch with transmitter/receiver in its own VLAN.

A: Using any device that has HDMI can result in latency. However, most newer TV sets has a setting to compensate for such problems. Please consult the owners manual for the instructions.

[5 Vpp] We have 2 TVs in a High School that we use for digital signage. We had used other vga over ethernet adapters but we ran into picture quality issues. Using these with an additional receiver we were able to hook these up to our network switch and had no issues. Picture and audio quality is perfect. Since we use managed network switches we created its own VLAN for 3 ports so other network traffic was not effected. If you don't use managed switches buy a cheap $40 5 port switch and it's a plug and play installation. I like the suggestion from another reviewer about having these devices having the option for power over ethernet. Anything that doesn't require a separate power adapter is handy. 5

[FCC, CE, RoHS] I upgraded to the Ocean Matrix because the other brand I had was inconsistent in it's connection and it was frustrating. I use these with my Canon XA45 Camera and we extend 150 feet with no problem. LOVE IT! 5
