A: No, the Hollyland 2/4 Wire Converter for Intercom Systems will not integrate with two-way radios such as the Motorola CP200.

A: The IOGEAR USB 2.0 BoostLinq Ethernet Extender has to be connected directly to the computer. Now as far as using it with a USB hub on the device end, it may be possible. If you are planning to use it that way, then I recommend to get a USB hub with external power.

Q: 3. Is this an Ethernet extender or just a Cat5/6 Extender? HUGE difference between just retransmitting across CAT5 wiring and actually converting to Ethernet Frames, Only the latter would allow you to use with switches or other L2 devices in between, which is the scenario I'm trying to use it for. Not looking to run a dedicated line.

A: For what I bought it for and I believe what its designed for, is to just extend and transmit USB protocol past the recommend 6 feet. In my tests I was able to extend up to 150 ft. This is a P2P device.

Q: 4. I am able to send USB signal from my M32r console to my mac book pro, running Logic Pro X... but I am not receiving any audio from the console to Logic. I've tried several different cat cables at different lengths, but still no luck. When I remove the transmitter and receiver from the equation, it works great. Any ideas as to why my computer recognizes the console while using the extender kit but will not pass any audio?

A: This would be heavily dependent on your specific situation the adapter itself is limited to USB Full Speed (12 Mbps): 100' (30.48 m) and USB Low Speed (1.5 Mbps): 330' (100.58 m). Your audio issue may be coming from the devices limited bandwidth.

A: Yes. But you will only get the rated distance stated on B&H for the protocol that your device uses so take that into consideration. Also there is an IC at each end if the cat6 so it will add a but of latency to the round trip

A: No this will not boost your network speeds, it will allow you to utilize a 2 wire cable to send the internet signal up to 0.6 miles utilizing the transmitter receiver setup.

[USB 1.1 & 2.0] Use this to extend control of a Camera and Telescope 100ft away in the garden. Telescope also has a USB to RS232 converter, which works perfectly over the extended link. No real complaints, it works as expected. Used to have a USB1.1 extender, but camera picture download was too slow, this makes a world of difference. 5

[1.6 oz (50 g)] I'm using several of these to extend RF wireless keyboard receivers in several rooms in my home to a KVM matrix switch that's located in a rack in the basement. These inexpensive extenders replaced far more expensive Startech KVM console extenders (I was only using the USB capability) and simplified the configuration by taking up less space and eliminating some wall wart power supplies. The money I can recover by selling the Startech extenders will more than pay for these. Highly recommended. 5

[5 VDC, 2 A] I needed to run a USB cable from my computer to another device .. but the other device was about 30 feet away and normal USB just won't work at those distances. This little device allows you to run USB over a CAT5 (or CAT5e or CAT6) cable .. over a hundred feet. It plugs into a USB jack on the computer, thru an adapter to CAT5 cable, and on the other end connects to a small powered adapter and back to USB .. Works fine. A great way to extend the reach of USB. Completely transparent to the computer and to the external device .. no software required. Just connect and use. 5

We have used one of these as an Automotive Technician workstation in our Automotive Repair shop for over 10 years and it is easy to dust off and sturdy enough for multiple technicians to use it with a barstool every workday for years. This review is for an additional workstation we are adding to our shop. [USB 1.1 & 2.0] I needed to add a temporary remote 1080P IP camera and all I had was a CAT3 25pair to work with. This worked great. Fired up on the first try. 5
