The dj midi controller allen & heath xone dxfrom Allen & Heath is a 4+1 channel DJ mixer offering professional quality in a simple, yet intuitive layout for professional DJs, serious home enthusiast and night clubs. The mixer features the XONE analog filter with resonance control, 3-band EQ, a replaceable VCA crossfader, and the X:FX send and return that incorporates any outboard FX unit.

The XONE filter includes high pass, band pass, and low pass filter selections, resonance control, and frequency sweep. Additionally, X:FX may be routed to the filter to add layers of FX and filtering. The crossfader offers three settings for blending and scratching styles and is compatible with a custom Innofader. The microphone channel features a 2-band EQ and doubles as an additional auxiliary input via stereo RCA connectors. The mixer offers XLR main outputs with independent booth and record outputs. The XONE:43 ships with a power cord and a spare set of knobs and buttons.

A: The XLR line level outputs of the mixer can be sent to your sound card wihout loss of quality.

Q: 10. Is this compatible with Serato?

A: No, the Allen & Heath XONE:23C DJ Mixer + Internal Soundcard is not directly compatible with Serato. The USB functionality of the sound card is not set up for Digital Vinyl Software use, but can be reconfigured to do so. [Up to 96 kHz] I heard great things about the mixer....warm sound, solid build, full kill EQ. It did not disappoint. I use with (2) PLX 500 and Macbook playing Traktor, Pandora and Spotify, primarily as my home audio system. The only thing I would change are the wings on the side, it would have a cleaner look if it was just a box. 5

[20 x 18 x 8"] Pros: High build quality; High quality/feel rotary encoders, knobs/faders and buttons; Excellent 16 bit soundcard (not 24 bit, but NO ONE can tell the difference under real world conditions); Very functional/versatile compact layout; Latching layers a ++; Easy to map functions and LEDs to Traktor Pro 2.5 Cons: Would have been nice if knob faders had a middle detent (personal preference, minor issue). Would highly recommend to someone interested in compact, jogwheel-less controller. 5

[4x Stereo] PRO's -Great Look and Feel-Great Sound-Total Kill EQ is actually total kill mid, high's and lows-Effects are awesome and gain for each input is a nice touch.-Under$ GREAT PRICE for the qualityCON's-Crossfader a bit soft-would like input/ phono switch-not sure i get the modifications options but I use it for vinyl. I also want to say that the good people of B&H were so helpful and professional. Honestly, I will be calling them again for my needs, the service was top quality! 5

[DJ Mixer] I bought this mixer for my mobile backyard setup. I was having issues over gain control and gain output matching. I have to say, the build and quality is great as many have mentioned. It sounds amazing as well, I hear and see a quality product as I use this item. The only thing I did not like with the product was that with the DC Power Supply, it comes with a EU plug (CEE 7) to IEC 60320 C13. It was not mentioned anywhere. Luckily I have a typical IEC 60320 C13 to US style plug (NEMA 5-15P) laying around so it wasn't too big a deal for me. I would have been disheartened to really need to use the product but not know and not have purchased the correct plug in time. Besides that, I totally recommend this mixer! 5
