A: It looks like its the regular replacement cost for these kind of printer parts although i wasn't able to get an exact answer why they have the higher cost although apparently they make them very well and out of premium materials so that might explain it. Also once you get them they shouldn't break on you.

A: Thanks for the question. The paper itself is always glossy because textured paper doesn't work well with dye sublimation technology. If you are using a CP-9550DW there is no matte available, but if you are using a CP-9810DW, there is a matte setting in the driver which adjusts the overcoat layer to have a slight texture.
