The Data Select feature provides a simple method to exclude files from the cloning process. This feature is also suitable for creating a fast SSD boot disk that loads your OS and apps nearly instantaneously while retaining your documents and media files on the original hard drive.

To safeguard against drive failure, the EZ Gig IV software can be used to create a bootable recovery backup. This recovery drive can be installed into your system, an external enclosure, or drive dock to keep you up and running with no data loss.

The verify copy function compares the data of source and destination after copying. If verify copy is chosen, the free areas between partitions will also be copied. This option offers the possibility to synchronize the data of the source and destination drives after the copying process.

EZ Gig IV gives you three options when creating your clone: automatically resizing partitions to the new drive, keeping the partition sizes the same or allowing you to manually resize your partitions

SmartCopy enables you to clone your file systems in a fraction of time usually required

Once your clone is complete, EZ Gig IV's final report will outline the number of sector copied, read errors, write errors and if verified, will also report verification errors.

[CD-ROM drive] While pretty straightforward I went ahead and had B&H Techs install the added RAM for my new 8 core APPLE MAC PRO. Has worked flawlessly since delivery, plus they returned the original RAM. Too many times when doing this myself I have encountered problems which then take away the enjoyment of a new Machine for an hour or sometimes days. 5

[64 MB] I'm not really a techie, and I work fairly long hours in my work and other pursuits, so it was an easy choice for me to have B&H install the added memory drives to my new PC. The price was reasonable and I have come to trust B&H to be upfront and honest with their advice and service. 5

[CD-ROM drive] Excellent product and instructions. I had no problem using the accessories with the video presented. I would not say adding a hard drive was difficult, but it was not very easy. There are some parts of the instructions which involve connections on the motherboard which does not snap into place easily. 5

[CD-ROM drive] The instructions and on-line videos were easy to understand. All took that I needed were included but I suggest to have an old ice cube tray available to put your screws in when removing. This helps keep them in order and not get lost. 5

[64 MB] Last year I purchased a rather sophisticated CyberPower gaming pc to use for my photography processing and B&H added 20TB of internal hard drive to it for photo storage purposes.
