The control dmx lights with midiincludes a charging road case, six Volt Q5E LED fixtures, and the following accessories: six magnetic frost filter gel frames, IP to DMX data input cables, Omega brackets, safety cables, and one powerCON cable. The Volt Q5Es are IP65-rated RGBW light fixtures with five 10W quad-color LEDs, suitable for use in events and exterior wash applications.

Each Volt Q5E offers a beam angle of 9°, a field angle of 17°, a varying color temperature of 2,700 to 7,200K, and electronic strobe & dimming curves. It incorporates a four-button touch-control panel & an LCD menu display and supports three-pin DMX connectivity via the included DMX IP adapter cables. Flicker-free operation makes the unit suitable for broadcast TV and film. Four DMX channel modes (4, 5, 11 & 12 channels) enable you to control varying levels of features.

The Volt Q5E is battery-operated and features a two-pin IP power input for recharging. It has a maximum power consumption of 65W and can be mounted on the floor or hung from a rig using mounting clamps (not included).

The charging road case is designed to store and transport your six Q5E fixtures, and it also functions as their charging cradle. The case is equipped with a charge status window for each unit.

A: The Blizzard SoC-It Wi-Fi Wireless DMX Gateway Control Solution will work with many lights at the same time. The lights need to be daisy-chained, and when combined, the lights do not use more than 512 channels.

Q: 2. this adapter work with lightkey software??

A: Unfortunately, the SoundSwitch Micro-DMX Interface is not compatible with the Lightkey Software.

Q: 3. Is this compatible with Mac El Capitan?

A: The SPOTS Gaffers Control V.2 DMX Controller has an Integrated CRMX LumenRadio transmitter. To use this with your lights they need Lumenradios built in or attached to them.

Q: 8. Can this be used with Blackout or Luminair?

A: The Blizzard SoC-It Wi-Fi Wireless DMX Gateway Control Solution has been tested with Luminair and works. It has not been tested with Blackout so results may vary.

[IP 65] If you own the Mackie MCU Pro this is a no brainer!!! It’s expensive but it adds immediate value to your tracking and mixing capabilities. The only reason why I don’t own two of them is because I need the spare midi ports to plug up my MPC 2000XL and Nord Stage 3 into my MCU Pro! Do yourself a big favor and purchase one if you are on the fence. Once you get one you will immediately be glad that you did. 5

[44 x 22.5 x 22"] Bought this to get wireless DMX in a small lighting rig in ceiling of an auditorium. We leave the USB charging cable attached and powered up. Battery is removable so you don’t have to worry about overcharging it. Generates its own SSID or you can assign it to an existing one. Brilliant. It can also be used for a tester of your DMX chain at any point. Comes with a free phone app. For $150 you can control an entire universe of DMX... and it fits in your pocket! I’m using Luminair with it, and it is flawless. If you disconnect power, it comes back up right where it left off. 5

[22 - 26.2 VDC] I've worked with both the Astera and these SGC lights, and I recently bought the SGC 4 light kit. These grids are pretty much a must have accessory! I got two of them for the kit because generally the interview type work I do, that is all I need. They are a fraction of the cost of the Astera accessories, and if you were thinking you could even use most of the Astera accessories, you'd be wrong. The SGC tubes are about an inch longer and will not fit. So far, I am loving the SGC lights! 5

[Any (360°)] This is a great product that has yet to reach its full potential. I received it with some software bugs in the control app, but after some emails with the company my issues were solved with an update within days.
