A: Yes the phone clamp can be removed to reveal a standard 1/4-20 screw which you could attach a cold shoe mount on.

A: While not specified by the manufacturer, we were able to attach larger-screen phones to it, including my personal iPhone 13 Pro Max with a case on. It does not come with an AC wall adapter. The table clamp's jaw was easily openable to 2.2" but with effort could be made to open as wide as 2.55".

[1/4 Wave length] If I were to design a mobile phone tripod mount adapter, this would be it: lightweight & strong. A phone mounted in this mount isn't going anywhere. Holds my mobile phones very securely too with the rubber-like pads in the clamp. When I drop it, I don't have to worry about it breaking either. 5

[1/4 Wave length] The FotodioX Cell Phone Tripod Adapter is an excellent design, with a thumbscrew clamping mechanism to hold the phone and another thumbscrew knob to set the rotational position. It is plastic and exhibits a little sag with a heavy phone, but using the camera's shutter delay I found it works perfectly for tripod mounted exposures. 5
