Prevent leaks and keep your Nikon D800 camera safe in Aquatica's AD800 Underwater Housing with the SURVEYOR Moisture and Vacuum Sensor. This unit is sensitive to atmospheric pressure, and it allows you to confirm watertight integrity before diving. An included compensation function improves accuracy by ensuring that changes in ambient or internal temperature will not cause incorrect readings.

Once your camera is installed, simply push the actuation button on the sensor's circuit board. With the optional valve and extracting pump, which are part of the complete Vacuum Circuitry Kit, you can actually remove excess air to create a vacuum in the housing.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. A D7100 Nikon camera with 18 - 105 67mm lens would fit in?

A: The Nikon D7100 with the 18-105mm lens will not fit in the Ewa-Marine U-FXP Underwater Housing. You could use the Ewa-Marine U-FXP Underwater Housing. You will also need the Ewa-Marine C-A67 67mm Adapter Ring Set. Here are the links: https://bhpho.to/2wbnd6W https://bhpho.to/2HkQrKX

Q: 2. Can you zoom in and out?

A: You have the ability by pressing the tubus to manually zoom in and out.

Q: 3. Will this work with a Canon 80d, Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8, and Yongnuo Transmitter (YN-E3-RT)?

A: This setup will fit in the u-az

Q: 4. Will this work with my D800e?

A: I have use it with a canon 5D Mk III and worked fine, I guess will work with the nikon. The size are similar in those cameras.

Q: 5. would a canon t3i rebel fit?

A: The Canon T3i will fit in the Ewa-Marine U-AX Housing. You do have to make sure the lens on the camera has a maximum filter thread of 72mm. The camera body and lens together cannot be longer than 6.7 (170mm). Only internal focus lenses could be used in Ewa-Marine housings.

Q: 6. Will a Nikon d7100, 18-140mm lens with a SB-700 flash fit?

A: this outfit will fit in the UBXP however if you have lenses with an 82 mm filter thread then you will require the U-BXP 100.

Q: 7. What's the maximum focal can be used without vignette ? My gear is Sony A7RII and FE1635

A: Hi Dziung, there will always be vignetting of some sort while shooting underwater, but the limits on lenses in this housing are really the filter thread size (max is 82 mm) we recommend the widest possible settings to be used and framing where crops are possible.Hope this helps. All the best,Eric

Q: 8. enough room to fit a pocket wizard on the hot shoe?

A: Hi Steve,i havent tested the pocket wizard but i have seen other remotes on a hot shoe fit without issue. Eric

Q: 9. does this housing supposed to come with some padding?

A: This underwater housing bag does not come with padding.

Q: 10. I'm looking for underwater housing that would accommodate my Canon 5D III, battery grip, 600EX flash and a 77mm lens (ideally up to 82mm). What reliable options would you recommend for this setup, without breaking the bank?

A: Ewa-Marine bag housings are a reliable option at a reasonable price when working in 20' of water or less. The housing is rated to 150' but water pressure will make it difficult to access the camera controls through the bag. The Ewa-Marine U-BXP100 is their largest housing. This bag is designed to hold an on-camera speedlight and could accommodate internal focus lenses with a maximum 82mm lens filter size. The housing includes the threaded 77mm lens-to-port adapter ring. Other optional port adapter rings including the 82mm adapter is available (#CA82). Wide-angle lenses can be used with this housing. The housing is designed for large DSLR cameras only. Use of a battery grip cannot be guaranteed. [10 x 6 x 0.1"] I bought the ikelite house obviously to take underwater shots for the beach. nothing to complain about here. Just make sure you slap in a full battery so you don't have to stop and swap it mid swim. It has a slightly positive boyency, not crazy you probably won't notice it. All the controls are accessible tho it might be hard to see the monitor under intense sunlight at the beach.

[10 x 6 x 0.1"] I went diving for the first time and bought this housing to take my Canon T3i underwater with me. I only dove 7 meters/21 feet, but it worked perfectly fine for me. No leaks or moisture inside at all and it fit my Canon 10-22mm EF-S lens perfectly. There was plenty of room for the flash too. I couldn't really change settings underwater while diving, although I could in the housing above water. I was hoping to switch to movie mode at some point, but wasn't able to. In reality, I don't think I would have been able to hold it straight in front of me steady enough while diving in order to do video anyway. That's probably just because I have no diving experience though. I set it to A+ (scene intelligent auto) mode for the underwater shots so I wouldn't have to change any manual settings. I had to let almost all of the air out in order to get it below the surface of the water, even with the lead weight in the case. Since it wasn't a deep dive, I didn't have any problems with the housing shrinking around the camera at all.I was able to take some photos that I'm really happy with underwater and even above water. The glass doesn't seem to blur the image at all EXCEPT for when you're above water and have water drops on the glass. I also used this case while kayaking in the rain and those shots are blurry.

[0.1 lb] My canoe I was riding on capsized before I had this product. Needless to say, my expensive DSLR and lens were damaged beyond repair. Bought this product to protect against water spray, dust, and overall protection from elements - and yes, from possible capsizing. It worked for the purpose intended. Will test it on shallow dive when opportunity arises. No leaks or moisture problems. However, it's tough but it's still plastic. So, you want to protect it from pokes and scratches or you just threw away almost $$.

[10 x 6 x 0.1"] This is a really great housing. I have been using it for surf photography. The housings made for surf photography can run you a couple of thousand, minimum, so this one is an awesome way to get started! It's a bit tricky without being able to test the settings and the lens port requires some cropping in post when using wide angle lenses. Totally worth it though!

[10 x 6 x 0.1"] Here is the most important thing you will need to know... IT WORKS! Putting your 5D Mark III into a body of water with a $2500 dollar lens and a flash does not feel natural in any way the first time you ease it into the water. But life is life and if it was going to leak I was going to find out the hard way, It did not leak. Humidity packets that came with it got rid of fog. The only tricky thing is that you really need to dial in your settings before getting in there, or use it on full auto. I shoot in Pools in Manual and it worked fine with a bit of going back and adjusting settings again. Direct flash looks terrible underwater as it does above water, so I am still not sure I will use flash again for my underwater needs. Great thing is I can turn flash on and off through the housing anyways so, not a big deal to have there just in case. The plastic does warp your lcd image and makes it look cloudy, the first time I thought everything looked terrible until I took it out of the thick plastic housing. Bottom line, this works, and the company that makes it guarantees your gear in case of manufacturing failure. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!

[10 x 6 x 0.1"] The buttons, wheels and levers seem a bit much when you take it out of the box. BUT when you load your camera and lens (D780 Nikon for me) the buttons, wheels and levers are all intuitive and right where they're supposed to be. A couple of the levers or triggers are used for the shutter, AF, etc. BUT they are also pretty intuitive for diving.

Two things I suggest that they should just sell with the kit.
1) the vacuum pump should come standard. The peace of mind it gives is worth every penny.

2) you're going to need the optional weight arm. This rig with an extension and the large dome is not a little buoyant it is very buoyant. I added the weight holder arm with 2lbs for fresh water and get a great natural buoyancy.

[10 x 6 x 0.1"] Decided to get this over cheaper alternatives mainly due to:1) optical glass for better image quality2) adaptor to hold front of glass against your lens which really help in preventing any vignetting I do have previous experience using sports housings by aquatech for sports photography and got this more for casual beach side usage. Overall, am very satisfied by the quality of the housing and the images produced out of it.
