A: No, this would not be outdoor rated speakers.

A: Unfortunately there is no way to upgrade the analog input on the Transparent Bluetooth Speaker to optical input, but you can output from an optical source and convert it to analog for compatibility with the Transparent Bluetooth Speaker (Black with Black Wiring) using something like BH #GEATVDA.

Q: 3. Will this speaker connect to my turntable in anyway besides Bluetooth?

A: If your turntable has a built in preamp and it outputs RCA, you can use B&H # KOSMYCM2RM03 to connect it directly to the Audioengine B2 speaker.

A: Mounting screws are included. These speakers require an 11.4 cut-out and a cut-out depth of 5.73

A: We used these speakers for our office music system and in this application, they work well; however, I don't think I would recommend these speakers for a theatre room. I am not sure you would be pleased with the sound quality in that context. Also, keep in mind, this is a stereo speaker (in one unit). I don't think they are designed to be used in a theatre room.

Q: 9. How is the power supply connected to the speaker? How long is the power supply lead

A: Hi, Thank you for reaching out. Power supply connected to the Bluetooth controller and Each light requires a 120v supply. The sound system is powered through a control module that also requires a separate 120v power supply.

Q: 10. Can this be used wirelessly?

A: This is a Bluetooth speaker. So yes it can be used wirelessly.

[Yes] I used these speakers with JBL 19cs subwoofers for a weight room facility sound system. The total system consisted of 6 - 26c speakers and 4 - 19cs subwoofers. Wiring is made easy with the removable terminal blocks and passthrough wiring. Basically each speaker connects to each other in a line. This installation method reduces cost for speaker wire and labor involved with running extra wire. The terminal blocks have 4 wire holes. For the first speaker in the line will use holes 2 & 3 for the line connecting to the amplifier. Then a wire is ran from speaker 1 to speaker 2. Holes 1 & 4 from speaker 1 connects to holes 2 & 3 on speaker 2. This continues for the entire line. Be sure to properly power these speakers. Both the 19cs and 26c need 140 watts of power. In our installation we used 2 amplifiers splitting the system into left and right sides of the room. Since each amp had 2 outputs of 500 watts for each channel. This provided some headroom for the speakers. On both amps output 1 was was the high and output 2 was the low. Output 1 had 3 26c speakers and output 2 had 2 19cs subwoofers. These amplifiers had a built in crossover feature that splits the signal into high and low frequences which is essential for installing a system like this. A xlr splitter was used to convert the output from the mixer (1 xlr) to inputs for both amps (2 xlr). A cutout template is provided for cutting ceiling tiles. Once tiles are put back in the ceiling the installation can be done without access into the ceiling. The speaker is designed to push up through the cutout in the ceiling tile and clamps down to the C bracket (included). Make sure to have someone assist with installing, these can be insalled with one person but can be difficult for one person to lift, attach wires, put into place, and screw down holders. Overall these speakers work as expected and would buy again. They install nicely and end product looks professional. Nothing less to be expected from JBL. 5

[Yes] I use these speakers in meeting rooms of various sizes and for several purposes such as lectures, symposia, music playback, and movies. They are installed in drop ceilings, which, of course, has its drawbacks, but the response and delivery of these speakers is outstanding. I wouldn't think of going with another choice except to upgrade to the 47c/t in rooms that can handle more bass. response. 5

[Yes] Due to the relatively low cost, I was a little concerned that these would not satisfy our requirements for the space but man do these deliver. We have 4 of these running on one Sonos Amp in a large living room paired with a Sonos Sub. The speakers are mounted approx. 11ft off the ground on a sloped ceiling. VERY impressed with how they perform! 5

[Yes] The speakers were delivered promptly. The installation instructions were clear, and the installation was easy except for having to climb a ladder to install them in my ceiling. We use the speakers to play streaming broadcasts and CDs, and the sound has been great. 5

[Yes] Very good quality, easy installation, just cut a hole in the drywall/sheet rock with the included template, connect the wires, push the speaker into the cut out, the three holding arms will spring into place and you are done. Very good back ground sound for a small speaker. 5

[Yes] Installed 4 pairs of this in an auditorium of 60ftx40ft. Easy to install, sound quality is great. The wattage tap settings on the front make it easily accessible and simplify refining volume levels of the system especially when mounted on ceiling Also, the System Design Software on jblpro website helped a lot in validating speaker placement. 5
