It is designed to support focusing to infinity, and is constructed with brass along with stainless-steel mounting rings to provide a durable, yet lightweight camera-to-lens connection.

This adapter does not support electronic communication between an attached camera and lens. After being placed on the front of the adapter, aperture control on a compatible lens would continue to be used. For focus control, the Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Rolleiflex SL66-Series Mount Lens to Canon EF or EF-S Mount Camera features a built-in helicoid that extends and retracts a compatible lens in a manner similar to a Rolleiflex SL66-series camera's focusing rack.

Similar to a Rolleiflex SL66-series camera's lens mounting ring, the Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Rolleiflex SL66-Series Mount Lens to Canon EF or EF-S Mount Camera offers the ability to mount a compatible lens in reverse. By utilizing this feature, the focal length of the attached lens relative to the camera being used is shortened, which can then provide a macro effect.

To help prevent stress on the camera mount if the supported camera and lens combination is to be placed on a tripod, the Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Rolleiflex SL66-Series Mount Lens to Canon EF or EF-S Mount Camera includes a detachable tripod foot that features 1/4"-20 threads.

This lens is compatible with all Canon EOS DSLR cameras, and your Rebel T3 is compatible with any autofocus lenses made by Canon for the EOS system, as well as those made by other manufacturers for the EOS system. It is worth noting that with the 1.6x crop factor of the Rebel and APS-C sensor cameras, that this lens is really not so wide. 1.6 x 35mm = 56mm.

A: If you are shooting a crop sensor camera, not so much. It is a really sharp lens but not that wide. 24mm on full frame turns in a reasonable wide angle shot. On a crop sensor, 18mm is wide enough to make it look big. That is really equiv to 28.8mm on full frame (Canon anyway). A 14mm would really get into wide territory on a crop sensor. Canon's are 1.6 x the focal length. really good for long, bad for short. You really need to go much smaller than 35mm for a real panoramic effect...

[0.95 lb] For the price this lens is great! I am using it on a 40D and could not be happier. It does sound like a bunch of bees as it focuses (by far the loudest focusing lens I own). I love how close you can get to a subject! You cannot beat the price and quality of this lens!!! 5

[4 x 4 x 3"] I use this lens for low light photography and every day use. It's fast and sharp. Also, the contrast and color reproduction is fantastic. It focuses quickly in all kinds of light. Lens focusing is non-rotating. The manual focusing ring is easy enough to use. There have been complaints of auto focusing noise. Yes, there is a little bit of noise. However, it doesn't even cross my mind when I take pictures. It's not really a problem. Thank-you B&H for offering lenses like this. I'm really enjoying it. 5

[Canon EF] I had this lens 3 years ago, liked it a lot, for some reason I sold it, but kept thinking of it, now i bought it again. it's the greatest lens you can buy for under 300. 5

[0.95 lb] This lens is really underrated. I use it with a 60D for video and photography. This lens is very sharp, even at f/2. It's great for low light as well as video which requires a lot of light. The focus ring is not spectacular, but it's not bad either. It has some friction on manual focus mode which is nice for video, and on auto focus mode it spins freely and does nothing so there is no risk of damaging the auto focus motor. The distance scale is nice too. Everyone says that the focus motor is loud and buzzy, but it is really not that bad. I guess if you are using it in a quiet setting such as a wedding it might be a little noisy, but in everyday settings it is fine. The focus is quick and accurate, but you need to be careful when shooting at f/2 to not move or the subject will be soft because of the shallow dof. The 35mm focal length is really nice; I am using it for a documentary at the moment and it is a very good focal length for that. The lens is light and small, making your camera really compact. The five aperture blades do give a pentagon shaped bokeh when the lens is stopped down, but I don't find it distracting and usually it is only noticeable when there is a point of light in the background. One other thing I really like is the close focus ability. Overall this is a great lens for the money. I would do four and a half stars because the focus could be better, but it is a minor issue so I gave it five instead of four. 5
