The sigma z mount lensfrom sigma z mount lensallows a Bronica SQ-mount lens to be used with a Pentax K-mount camera. It is designed to support focusing to infinity, and is constructed from brass and an aluminum alloy along with stainless steel mounting rings to provide a durable, yet lightweight camera-to-lens connection.

This adapter does not support electronic communication between an attached camera and lens. After being placed on the front of the adapter, focus and aperture controls on a compatible lens would continue to be used.

To help prevent stress on the camera mount if the supported camera and lens combination is to be placed on a tripod, the Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Bronica SQ-Mount Lens to Pentax K-Mount Camera includes a detachable tripod foot that features 1/4"-20 threads.

Q: 1. Do the focusing motors make a noticeable sound in video?

A: Being that the Sigma 16-28mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens has a stepping AF motor, the focusing cannot be heard when shooting video.

A: The Sigma 10-18mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary Lens (FUJIFILM X) is updated through the camera. There is no USB dock for it.

Q: 4. Looking from the top and behind the camera, is the lens infinity focus on the far right, on the left or can it be programed in the camera as to which direction focus happens?

A: Rotating the focus clockwise brings it towards infinity and counter clockwise would be minimum focus. This cannot be changed.

Q: 5. Would this lens be a worthwhile addition for a Sony a6600, given that I already have the Sony 16-55 G Lens? The small size is very appealing, but image quality is my primary consideration.

A: This lens would be worthwhile if you're using the A6600 specifically for video and need a compact wide angle lens for use with a follow focus or on a gimbal. Otherwise for still applications, the E 16-55mm f/2.8 covers the 24mm focal length already.

A: This lens is made and manufactured in Aizu, Japan.

A: Yes, PL and Arri PL are the same thing so you can use the Sigma adapter to mount your lenses on an L mount camera.

Q: 9. Will it cover Sony full frame at 15-28 or i get dark corners?

A: The Sigma 10-18mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary Lens (Sony E) will cause vignetting (dark shadows in the corners) of every image on a camera with a full-frame image sensor.

Q: 10. Is it possible to use a step down filter to a 67mm thread without seeing the edge of the filter at 16mm?

A: It is likely that a step down to a 67mm filter on the 72mm thread of the Sigma 16-28mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens (Sony E) will produce visible vignetting.

[Pentax K] Once I got over the painfully slow maximum aperture, just about everything else about this lens is has been a delight! Unlike most vintage wide primes, this one seems rock solid from wide open. (Not testing on walls or charts, just been consistently, pleasantly surprised with my low light interior shots!) For landscapes, the corners are awesome. (Very refreshing after trying some more lackluster WA optics this spring.) Flare resistance is great. I also like having relatively low distortion. Size & performance were my priorities and the more I use this lens, the more glad I am I chose it. If I had to nitpick, the sunstars aren't my favorite. 5

[4.3 x 3.9 x 2"] This is my second Sigma lens for my Lumix S5ii. I do my research before purchasing like I'm sure most of you have. The Sigma 16-28mm DG DN ' C met my expectations during the few shoots I've done so far. I'm more than excited to take it on a trip to Hawaii in the near future. Would recommend for sure. 5

[4.3 x 3.9 x 2"] I bought the Sigma fp thinking it would be great walk around camera with a small wide angle lens. It gook 9 months for then to come out with it but it is here now. It makes great pictures, sharp with great colors. It's not quite as small as I'd like, not a pancake, but small enough. It has a great feel to with with an all metal body, nice clicks on all the stops and easy focusing if one decides to use manual focus. I'm very happy to take the small 3.5 over a larger, bulkier 1.4. My only complaint is that it would be nice to have a button to take the lens out of auto aperture settings. It has slipped to a manual setting a few times with out being aware until I can't change the aperture from the camera. Otherwise, it's really a joy to have and to use. 5

[4.3 x 3.9 x 2"] Bought this lens because I wanted a wide angle that was super compact. The build quality is exceptional, very happy to have an aperture ring, and the image quality is great for the size. I don't mind the slower aperture because this will be a landscape hiking and daytime street lens, which means I will be shooting at the slower apertures anyways. 5
