Sure there are lots more higher spec units out there, but put a blu ray source in to this and youve got big screen full 1080p cinema for a snip. Crisp detail pictures. Also not to large so you can pack it away after viewing ( mine sits at low level and projects up rather than a ceiling mount)

[2.85 lb] This product works right out of the box. I was surprised at how small it was and delight that there was no lengthy technical set-up process. Out of the box I connected it to my computer and displayed a video on my office wall. The picture was clear and strong even with bright sunlight shining in the room. The first presentation was outside in the daylight, the picture was bright and very visible. I am very impressed with product at such a reasonable price.

[2.85 lb] This is my first projector and before buying it I really did quite a bit of study about which one I should go for . My primary purpose was to watch movies on big screen and let my son play games too on bigger screen when he would want . As per my budget I shortlisted Epson 8350 and Optoma but I went for Optoma because of the size and weight which is much lesser than Epson . Let me tell you I was not dissappointed at all after this purchase . The picture quality is excellent and has multiple options for brightness, contrast etc which makes viewing a pleasure . [2.85 lb] I really enjoy the product. Perfect for what it was purchased for. Only draws are the difficulty of instillation with the universal mount and lack of paper manual. Projector is used for church and CD manual would have to be handy for quick reference. Paper guide is more easily assessible for trouble shooting; but I guess I could always print a copy:)

[2.85 lb] I set it up the day I recieved it and it worked! Usually I have to do a lot of trouble shooting and this set up like a dream. I expected I would need the room to be really dark, but it worked in a room that had daylight, only the thin curtains were drawn.

[2.85 lb] You'll want to look elsewhere if you're looking for more inputs. The projector is limited to VGA, S-video and composite inputs. So no DVI, component, or HDMI inputs if you're looking for one. Despite this, if you're looking to simply give presentations and project still images, this is the projector for you. It packs a whopping 3500 lumens and 3000:1 contrast ratio that has been a great addition to our church services. We don't have to dim/turn off the lights during service to read lyrics and we can leave the bible passage up during the sermon with all the lights on in the room.
