A: If you use the headphones with a computer that requires a USB connection, the cord is just about seven feet in length. If you use the headphones with a cellphone or something else that requires a 3.5 mm plug, you remove the USB/Controls portion (which is the black part) of the cable and are left with the orange portion of the cable that is four feet in length.
