Q: 9. Plugged in both (verified) monitors, inserted mini HDMI into laptop. Nothing. Laptop does not "see" either monitor. Laptop previously "saw" a single monitor through its full HDMI port. Tried rebooting. Nothing -- help?

[via USB port] older toshiba satellite laptop running linux mint to 32" 1080p monitor. �had to turn off laptop display and then it performs as advertised. �very nice and a bargain price. 5

[HDMI] Monitors last a lot longer than a computer, but new computers don't have a VGA input ... this works fine with my old monitor, so all in all it's a great deal. 5

It is as simple as plugging one end into the computer and one end into your device. There is no software that you need to install.
