[0.1 lb] I have four light stands from my film days. They all work adequately. But, when I decided to get new Westcott strobes (an FJ200 and an FJ400), I decided to get this Westcott stand for the 400. It was a smart decision. I obviously needed a stand with more girth and strength, and one that was updated with air cushioning. I didn't want a stand that was oversized and unwieldy. I'm very pleased with this one.The 200 is fine with any of the older stands, but I suspect I'll get another of these Westcott stands for it because it works so well. And, Westcott customer support is SUPERB, a real plus. 5

[0.1 lb] This thing will hold the biggest monolights. I'll shove an old Bowens 24000 on there with a huge softbox and this stand doesn't wobble at all. I'm planning to pick up a few more of these. 5
