It offers both right and left eyecups for customizing to your preference or shoot and uses a design that minimizes light leak. Also, it has mounting pieces for compatibility with either an 18mm or 22mm eyepiece.

[0.2 lb] I prefer using an eyecup when shooting and this slips onto my 1D MkIII for just the right coverage. Two connects also makes for use with smaller Canon cameras. The rubber hood does screw into a receptor, so watch for potential loosening. It's only happened once but now I double check it on occasion. 5

[0.2 lb] The original eye cup that came with my Canon Rebel had a bad habit of falling off. The HoodEye securely locks in place and the large, flexible cut can be easily turned if you are shooting in portrait or landscape orientation. 5

[0.2 lb] At last, my off center photos are a ting of the past, thanks to this eyecup. It forces me to view subjects and scenes dead on without my usual tilt to one side. Hence, no more photos with left or right crops because my view was not centered. Perfect solution, highly recommend!!! 5

[0.2 lb] This is the solution I've been searching for! I'm tired of being unable to see the various settings through the camera's eyepiece due to bright ambient light. With this eyecup kit I can block out all light and only see what is on the viewfinder. Huge improvement when shooting in a sun-drenched environment! 5
