This high-power SFP module includes a receiver and a transmitter which facilitates the conversion of an electrical data signal into an optical signal for transmission over fiber, and will also receive an optical data signal for conversion to an electrical signal for further processing. A CWDM wavelength of 1530nm is provided, and it is suitable for distances up to 50 miles. This is a higher-power device intended for long haul applications.
A socket, or "cage", is provided for the SFP in the supporting Lynx product for easy installation or upgrade. The SFP is hot-swappable.

[1530 nm] Purchased this cable because of features and price, to replace an older, low quality cable connecting a Sony PS3 to a 60 Samsung LED television. The picture using the old cable was low quality with frequent jumps and skips when watching both DVD's and online content. This new cable eliminated this problem. I can think of no cons about this cable. 5

[1530 nm] Used this for an in-wall install. Fits through a one inch conduit and is flexible. Strong socket grip. Comes in a thick reusable bag. Linked laptop to ceiling projector. Clean picture at a variety of resolutions. 5
