A: This printer can use any brand of the following filament types: 1.75mm PLA, ABS, PETG, Carbon Fiber PLA, Metallic PLA, and more are supported by the CZ-300.

A: It does not angle well. On a C stand you can rotate the arm up, but it still tends to slip. this is really my only gripe o this product.

Q: 3. What stand would be a good choice to place the Westcott 50x50 very low to the ground for newborn photography? Preferably under $80.

A: I use Mathews reverse stand! It goes right low to the ground. Perfect for newborn and baby photography :)

Q: 4. how many pounds?

A: 2.0 lbs.

Q: 5. How shallow is this when opened up? (Comparing this to the Wescott XXL Octodome.) Also, why does it say 300 w/s max? Can I use a Prophoto B2 head with this?

A: The Mega is heat rated for 300 watts (continuous light) not Ws(Watt seconds). The 300w rating makes it incompatible with high heat continuous lights, but it can be used with almost all strobe units including your B2.

Q: 6. Is this printer really manufactured by XYZ printing? This doesn't look like one of their usual designs.

A: XYZ is not the manufacturer but they are providing tech support, warranty support and distribution. In other words, all the same responsibilities as if they made the printer themselves.

Q: 7. Does this print instantly like on the spot a few seconds after shooting a picture ?

A: Its not an instant camera. After shooting you will need to develop the film

A: Mine is approx 47.5" x 47.5" at edges. Diffusion panel is approx 44" x 44". It is 29" deep inside if measured to edges, and 21" deep inside if measured to diffusion panel. Add 2" for a cap end, and you get 31" external length. Collapsed: 49.5" x 6".

Q: 9. Can a grid be attached to this?

A: The JS does not offer a grid option. A standard large softbox has more robust rods for supporting the weight of a large grid.

Q: 10. Is there an egg crate for this softbox?

A: I found an inexpensive one that was too long for it and trimmed it to fit. The width was right just a bit long. Just search for one the same width and some will show up.
